S20FE 5G doesn't fast charge with Oneplus/Realme fast chargers but OP 5T fast charged with Realme's fast charger (maybe because its an older model that doesn't have limitation)Some manufacturers like Samsung, Oneplus, etc do not like you to use third party chargers so they deliberately detect them and block superfast charging. Although depending upon their limitation you may still get 18W charging (Samsung does as I saw in reviews) meanwhile OnePlus wants you to use only their dash charger so you'll only get 10W there. It's the phone manufacturer limitation not the charger.
yup!Is 4,999 the lowest price for the Samsung t5 500gb?

But it's still slow slow tho. After using 65w everyday for a yr with 96% battery health, I can't ever go backSamsung Follows it's AFC (Adaptive fast charge) standard which is compatible with Qualcomm QC standard. So any QC 2.0+ charger will fast charge Samsung phones.
Batteries don't cost much nowadays. Oneplus charges 1200-1500 to replace the batteries on their newest models. How come the battery health remains at 96% after a year of using 65W charger? I thought faster charging kills battery health. For this specific reason I wanted to get a slow charger! Like in the 10 or 12W range.
Oneplus (and probably OPPO) are the worst of the lot as they deliberately prevent you from using any third-party charger. In short, you don't have any slow charging option at all and have to only use their brick. Can't wait for USB-PD to become a standard as the proprietary charging standards from the Chinese manufacturers is simply causing compatibity issues. Some manufacturers like Samsung, Oneplus, etc do not like you to use third party chargers so they deliberately detect them and block superfast charging. Anyone telling you otherwise is fooling you. OPPO has admitted to misleading marketing in secret but maintain a different stance publicly. Samsung and Apple provide USB-PD chargers. You also need a USB 3.1 PD cable. OnePlus never correctly clarified USB-PD support and also kept changing it with firmware back when I had an OP phone.I use a Samsung charger with my Oneplus sometimes and it charges at normal speed...~1.6A
Yeah, Anker ones have generally held up well with time. I have far too many Samsung 15W chargers and they usually work well with every device.Yeah I knew that and now I know for sure. Thanks for the link to the tweet. On that note, which brand of chargers would be good, Anker? Looking for a 10W or 12W adapter with USB C support.

Since it's a dual cell battery it splits the wattage across two of them.Oneplus (and probably OPPO) are the worst of the lot as they deliberately prevent you from using any third-party charger. Non PD chargers operate at less than 500 mA even though they might be 10-15W chargers. They unnecessarily keep breaking standards to promote their own charging solution and of course their charger works with nothing else.
