CPU/Mobo AMD Phenom/Phenom II Club

Get a 2X2 GB more than enuf for anyone at this point of time. Biostar is pretty good and any dealer who has said that it is not good has no stock of it. Check out the asus M3a79 reviews, they are not very good. Its good for OC but has too many problems to be stable. Gigabyte seems to have a better board if you are looking at something more expensive than a biostar.

So for all the members here...heres some nice looking results of the new CPU's coming in from AMD:

Have a look at the OC potential on these chips.

Amazing, finally 4Ghz capable X2s from AMD, gr8 achievement :). Will sell like cakes 5k CPU + 5k CF mobo + 2x 4770 13k, awesomeness.

Core i5's seem to clock as well....looks like its another round about to start...with AMD getting 700 Million of Intels money.

^^That won't happen afaik .. The cheapest and the lowest i5 wil be $50 more than the highest AMD offering, so until and unless they drop the price and make a uniform socket for upcoming and present chips Intel offering won't be as tempting as AMD :p

The problem I see is with the sockets more than anything else.

As for the price that has always been that way for quite some time.

Making each new line of CPU's requiring a new socket just puts me off.
