Reason for Sale
Upgraded to 7700x
Up for sale is my Ryzen 5 7600 (comes with CPU cooler and iGPU). Processor is 3 months old with original bill and box. The stock CPU cooler has never been used. The processor was used with a -40 all core offset with PBO without any stability issues. I've recently upgraded to the 7700x purchased from a fellow TE member.

There was a similar query in DM. Here is my reply:
I play mostly at 1440p in AAA games which is more of a gpu bound reso so the uplift is very meagre not more than 5 fps. For CPU bound games like CSGO, which I play at 1080p I get around 50 fps more than 7600. Improvement in cinebench is quite observable with 20-30% uplift. So if you are mostly into gaming 7600 is the perfect choice for a budget build, the next logical upgrade is either 7800x3d/9800x3d. I bought the 7700x because I got a very good offer for it around the cost of a 7600x.
In terms of day-to-day activities ofcourse certain things like compression/decompression are quite fast.

Any noticeable differences between 7600 and 7700x in day to day workflows?
Also just to point out 7700x needs a better cooler than 7600. My ak400 barely keeps the temps under control on the 7700x while with the 7600 the temps rarely crossed 85 degrees. I had to manually set thermal throttle at 85 for my 7700x as I don't want my cpu running too hot even though AMD says they are supposed to go till 95 to squeeze all the performance they can get.

during benchmarking or regular use? That's bit high. I have unlocked 9700x barely goes above 80C during heavy gaming around 108W.

i have a 7600 with stock cooler that runs super hot. waiting for the aio to arrive, I was hitting 95°C playing CSGO
7000 series just runs hot

Yes watched a video from GN that said that 7000 series are supposed to run upto 95 and basically you are only held back by your cooler. Although an air cooler is enough to cool a 7600.

Also dropping price to 15k shipped.

yeah, the cpu would be fine with an air cooler, but I just loved the look of the new deepcool le360 v2, which was a little more than the air cooler that I liked(deepcool ak400 digital)
