Lancer cedia styling is old. Verna looks ugly. Swift may be the best VFM car but I guess you're not going for that and no matter what way you put it, a maruti swift doesn't seem like a c-class car.

I'm guessing you're going for the best brand of car in around 8-10L. Yes even I like the Honda Civic but at 13L(all that japanese engg under the hood but poor styling...typical of honda) but I feel also that it be going too far. It won't seem like a wise choice in 1 year or so when you look at paying 13L EMI on yesterday's car.

A ford fiesta or chevrolet aveo might be a good choice. Or maybe toyota corolla. They have some brand value...esp the toyota. But it's kinda just a little too large for B'lore traffic. You might find some difficulty in tight spots.

Upto you to decide bro :).

kmpl was last in preferences while buying the bike ...... even this one takes same time to reach office but still i like it this way ......

Last O/T ;)

Ditch the Kmpl part dude....as long as its not obscenely low, dat's not really a big bother...

But here's something to chew upon....

My office commute takes me 10 mins on a bike

avg 15 mins on Milady's Zen

Takes me 25 mins on my Corsa

Takes me 35-40 mins on my Friend's Optra...

Howzzat for a reason?

Cedia..... without a doubt. A Cedia + Free flow exhaust + K&N Extreme air intake kit, a short shifter, upgraded suspension would kickass !!

Maybe a slight cosmetic upgrade as well, bigger alloys, body kit, (front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts ).

That would look SEXY !!

I'm looking at getting the sport version and changing to K&N and free flow exhaust almost immediately. Body and suspension changes can wait cos the body kit in the sport looks great as it is. Will also look at an ECU remap soon cos that'll easily give an extra 30hp... the engine is rated at 145 bhp afterall and thats what it should be giving not a measly 115 :P.

@czar: What you say is very true from the practical point of view... just that a swift is too small for my 6'1" frame. Its just not comfortable. One of my best friends in office has a zxi and I've driven her car quite a bit. If only were it bigger, I'd have bought it.

Not really... depends on distance between workplace/home, time you drive back and forth, your route and your driving :) I live in Indira Nagar and drive 10km to Koramangala for work... no complaints other than the drive to work taking 30 mins. Chaos lives close to his office, shouldn't take him more than 15 mins in traffic ;)
