i remember the colors being different or i might be wrong... the immaculate one is awesome ...go there :P ....how long u gonna be there?

^^Prolly 4 more days...actually thts what my plan was...but if i find something cool around this place (this place is already pretty cool..lol) i'll stay for a day or 2 more...:hap5: Actually thrs still a lot left to see..i'm just waiting for the friggin classes to finish fast... then i'll go to the basilica church and yeah, kalapet and the other beaches you mentioned as well..:ohyeah:

i heard that there was a lot of damage to pondicherry last time during the tsunami , guess most of the buildings were retouched after that

Grover is Indian, for whites there are like several countries you can get bettter for less..abroad. Look at the other alcohols produced here and compare their prices to the west, very affordable in comparison. But the price of wine here is nearly double for local produce in comparison to elsewhere.

arre, grover is obviously Indian...think you got me wrong there....
the quality of grover sauvignons is middle-of-the-road making them worth a $15 pick

^^Ehhh..dont even compare... I'm just loving the calm n serene ambience of this place...a farcry from the chaos in mumbai.. but given the similarity of these two places (atleast the seafront and the beach promenade) it makes u feel as if u've been transported back in time to the 60s in mumbai...n thts a good feeling...:ohyeah: To tell u the truth, i was completely baffled by the stark similarity this place has to Mumbai when i visited the beach road for the first time...but thts just about it..else, this place has a distinct charm of its own..n now i can understand why u spent a year in here,kippu...:ohyeah:

And thats reasonable for you ?..in India @ $10.

(it's amazing they can even make any, here being the tropics) let alone ask for more abroad.

..dunno man i've been spoilt by the choice in the west, middle of the rd was easily $5-$10 (closer to five than 10) anywhere i have been. I never went in for tropical wines , but the usual Californian, Chilean, French, Italian, etc.

Reds to whites for me.

yeah i know chardonnay is a white, was just saying...
