In other news, AT&T refuses to blacklist the IMEI of my phone to prevent anyone else using it ever (all that the guy who stole it has to do is, put in his own sim card and use it.)

try sending him some nasty messages saying, you are going to report to police tomm morning unless he returns to any apple store by tomm morning, in that case u will pay him $100 or something like that

I suppose you should send some messages to that number and tell him that you have reported the IMEI to AT&T and also others and they will trace him when he switches on the phone and if he wants to save his arse he better return the phone (you can offer him some money)
