Keyboard Controls are messed up and my Dilong vibration gamepad can't be used (although its detected). It will take some time to master this game. Gameplay is ok. I think demo extender patch is already out on the internet. :)
 
Played lots of it in last one hour. I am in better control of things now. Looks promising. Some nasty bugs but still this is an improvement over previous cricket games.
 
the demo extender patch really works great :)

gameplay wise the game is good...

but wat i hate abt it is the OK-OK graphics, Bad commentary, totally sucky crowd and NO 16:10 support...

the camera viewing angle also sucks.
 
Tried the official 3 over demo a little while ago. Gameplay is really decent.. mcuh better than the previous instalments. Graphics are quite OK. Commentary s**ks. It's absolutely lifeless. KB controls are new, but it'll be a matter of time before we master it.
Overall, I am impressed. Will wait for the official final release.
 
The demo extender patch works great. Thanks to dinesh_malhotra and arjun123. Now no limits to the number of overs. You can choose between 10, 20, 50 and unlimited overs using this demo extender patch. :hap2:

where did you download the patch from?
 
every time a new cricket game is released, the controls change. and this one is really weird.....i selected xbox 360 controller and started the game, but to my surprise all the keys shown were for keyboard controls....i had to figure out myself as to which key does what by just jamming on the buttons.....

very very weird i say...

let me rant about the installation first.
well you see, the installation is such that it takes up 4 times of space on your hard drive...

wat it does is..
1. you download 600 mb file
2. after running the file, the installation "extracts"
3. after extracting, it decompresses..
4. then it installs...

the actual solution:
so in short you will need more than 2gb space on your C: drive, or whereever you have your temp files.

this is just my guess, maybe your error is something different...

anyways, update about the game...
I mastered it on my xbox 360 controller on easy level!!! YAY!!!
scored 145 runs in 10 overs, with M Hughes getting 69 of 33....

unfortunately the game crashed when england were 66 for 5 in 6 overs...
