Assassins creed 2 DRM is going to be really really painfull

Googling around a bit led me to this solution. Before running the emulator,type
net stop http /y in cmd box. Power out here so when it comes back will try it and report back.
About my other issue, being stuck in an elevator with Kristen Bell
well who wouldn't want that but right now I just wanna know that is it a temporary glitch or what?
New Post-
As expected stopping HTTP did work, game started but as soon as the menu screen appears and I select Story mode, it starts showing message "Establishing network connection. Please Wait" What's wrong now?
Third Post-
After the initial Establishing Network message, game does starts off and runs but even now the game stops abruptly citing the same connectivity message after 3-4 minutes, it starts working again. That Lucy beeotch now gets stuck at more places than before. I mean she stuck at 4th floor elevator. Restarting the game and trying again made some progress but now again she stops responding or u can say game gets stuck at level 3 elevator.
I mean I went the emulator way only to save myself from these continuous interruptions but I'm still getting them. What the hell is wrong here?
P.S- I ain't using cracks, just the Emulator. Even the account I'm using is my genuine one with the genuine key. Saves are made offline.

I removed the network cable and tried to run game this time. Now the server runs OK but when actual game exe launches, it quits after displaying the message that game needs Internet Connection.
So I applied crack now and tried again but the same problem. Hence I removed the game and now installing again, this time using the original DVD. Now after that I will update and then run it with Internet connection. Now if it works then OK. After that I'll install emulator and run it while the Ethernet wire is unplugged. If it fails to start then I'll report back here and u guys can jiggle ur heads a bit more cause although I appreciate the efforts put in by all of u via PM but the fact remains that the Emulator isn't working for me in 100% manner.

Installing the game and updating all genuinely resulted in proper execution. Made out of the Abstergo in one go and game isn't glitching or anything like that.
In short, in genuine manner its working OK BUT I had to shutdown my downloads to do so and u all know, we have have been blessed by a sweet small bandwidth boost by BSNL this April and I want to make full use of it. I don't wanna put off my downloads just so that my main gaming rig can get access for some small itty bitty $hitty ACK packets to go and come through.
Now since its working 100% in its genuine form, how to do u suggest I should proceed for Emulator based execution?

I am playing this game...........but audio is not coming proper.......audio goes in between when talk.........any idea??? Tried google but no luck.....

Great installed it..... Its working great with the emulator 0.44 and values 1900,

I'm trapped here between a well and a gorge. If I close down the HTTP service, the server is able to run but is not able to communicate as it keeps getting HTTP1.1/404 as seen by me in command box. If I allow the HTTP service to run then some access permission stops the server itself from being running.
Anybody has any idea as to from where or how to change server's access permissions because I did made exceptions for it in Firewall settings and it is not working.

U don't know mate what sort of things I put on hold and amount of time and money invested in it to get it work. Even though I bought the original game and now its key is meaningless in offline mode, I still do believe that me buying game will be a drop of appreciation towards Game Devs for making such a great game.
The same DRM will be in Conviction but even then I have pre-ordered it via Praashant.

So, if the game is now working with somekind of crack, could you guys make some kind of tutorial for little dumbers like me, how to get the game working? I have some crack which lets me play the game, but when i'm running the first mission... the one where the guy goes to "sleep" or something, I get a white screen, and i cant to anything. So please guys, make me a tutorial, or if there is one, please link me! <3. Love you all! =) -reaperii
