True that. Ubi has their next COD series lined up. They better wrap this up with this title lest it becomes boring. Or better still have a completely new storyline with a different plot, setting and characters.
Just when we would hope that

"Assassin's Creed: The movie"

I thought Ubi was a publisher, not Assassin's Creed brand ambassador.

The fourth teaser is here:

The teaser shows an unknown assassin in the clip, as well as the numbers “11011165″, which looks like a date. If it is indeed 1165AD, it’ll mean it’ll take place 26 years before the start of Assassin’s Creed 1 and Altair.

New Assassin’s Creed teaser features assassin, numbers | VG247

The game is expected to be announced this month.

I hope we get to see what were the consequences that led Altair to become an Assassin. Like we saw Ezio in ACII. It will be just awesome to know about Altair's Past.

Also as this 4th teaser says 1165AD, i found this is the year in which Altair was born. So we will get to see Altair's Past IMO.

To me ACB was pretty boring. UBISOFT came up with an unexpected gem of a game in AC II & then they decided to milk it by not putting in much effort in ACB (Weak Story, Inferior setting, Much poor Artwork then before etc.)

Theories on the teasers so far (credit goes to Chriss Raven @TGV.TV for collecting and sorting out the info):

Teaser 1:

Now you will see some Arabic stuff on the screen here and there, those text blocks read “Eagle, son of nobody†and “Altair, son of nobodyâ€. This is pretty much confirmation that we’ll be playing as or beside the assassin from the first game

Teaser 2:

The new symbol that is flashed is the Phaistos Disc, which is a relic dating back to the Bronze Age and was found on Crete. And here the plot thickens. The assassin seen here is Altair, judging by the wrist guard for his blade, which happens to be on the correct hand if it’s Altair. The ripple effect on the video looks a lot like water, which when combined with the fact that we’re talking Greek island here makes me think of the Mediterranean, which is looking like the location of this game. I’ve got nothing on the Fort seen in the background, looks a lot like the Fortresses on Crete, but then again, most Forts looks alike. The light next to Altair’s hand is the silhouette of the entire Greek region, loot at it, there’s the Atton Peninsula.

PS: The fort seen in the trailer is Masyaf Fortress. ;)

Teaser 3:

First off, we have the map of Europe in the background again, heavily focused on the mediterranean region. Though there are more visible things here, like that Muslim building, which happens to be none other than the Hagia Sophia, or St. Sofia as known by some countries. It is a former mosque, turned museum located in modern day Turkey (Istanbul). Now, Istanbul is the modern name of the Byzantine capital Constantinople, and the cathedral was build in 360, but that is of little relevance, because we don’t know when the game will be taking place.

Now you might ask about the numbers, well that is Ezio Auditore da Firenze’s birthday (24.06.1459). There is a lot about this video that pushes us to think of Ezio and his age, for instance the Hagia Sophia is represented when it is a mosque, which happened at the end of the 15th century, after the Turkish took Constantinople, and there’s Ezio’s birthday as well, but let me tell you about that weird symbol. That is the Tuğra (seal) of a certain Ottoman sultan, more specifically Suleiman the Magnificent, who lived at the same time as Ezio, and was Sultan from 30.11.1520, which is interesting, considering that Ezio would be 61 when Suleiman becomes Sultan. Keep in mind that all of this might just be UbiSoft effing with us and stuff, but there are hinting at something, given the fact that the first videos were really have on Altair and Greece hints (Phaistos Disc and all).

Now it’s safe to assume that Altair went hunting for the disc (which is probably a Piece of Eden) after he got the map of the world showing him the places of the POEs, and Altair didn’t know anything about most of the lands, because America was not discovered back then, thus he set out to the only land he knows of that has a POE, which was Greece, and logically it seems that the Phaistos Disc is either the particular POE he’s searching for, or a map to it.

But with this whole Ezio/Ottoman Empire thing thrown into the mix, a lot of questions come up. The only possible thing I see is that we’ll be playing as both in a parallel story, alongside Desmond’s story, which would prove quite interesting, considering the Ottoman Empire was an interesting place at the time and medieval Greece is just plain cool. I have no concrete theory, but I do believe that this might be the case, after all, we did get an Altair section in AC2, and I loved that, imagine an entire game where you jump back and forth between Desmond, Altair and Ezio, plus it would make sense, bleeding effect and all.

Teaser 4:

Ok, so we have the map of Europe right there as always, highlighting the Mediterranean, we have Altair and his birthday right there and the crest of the Byzantine Empire, and a silhouette of Ezio in the background, pretty much confirming my theory from the previous teaser that both characters will be playable. The double headed Eagle also means that Altair will be going to the Empire and probably is nodding to the fact that we’ll be playing as both the Eagle’s. ;)

Details obtained from GameInformer magazine:

- Ezio is looking for seals in Revelations. These seals hold the memories of Alair. They'll allow Ezio to peek into Altair's life (just as Desmond uses Animus to peek into his ancestors lives).

- You'll control Altair through these sequences.

- The bulk of the game is set in Constantinople which will be split into 4 huge districts (Constantin, Beyazid, Imperial and Galata)

- You'll also visit Cappadocia

- Ezio is over 50 years old in this game

- Ezio has a new item called the hookblade which allows him to use ziplines throughout the city. UBI says that it speeds up navigation by about 30%

- You can also use the hookblade to reach out and pull enemies in for a combo

- Ezio can now make bombs through a crafting system. UBI says that there are over 300 bomb types

- They've modified the control scheme so that circle/B will control the hookblade and triangle/Y will control project weapons and bombs

- Eagles vision has become eagle sense. "Eagle sense let's you focus on a character and see where he's been," Amancio says. "You'll get an approximation of where he will go. If you're able to detect the path a guard will take, you can run ahead, set a bomb, and create a trap or an ambush."

- They've expanded on the Borgia Towers concept in order to create a new system. Throughout the city there are Assassin's Den's, you'll need to complete various assault scenarios in order take down the Templar presence (UBI says that there's more variety than in the Borgia Towers). Once you obtain a den you'll be able to upgrade the buildings in that region along with adding ziplines across the rooftops. You'll also be able to change the guards from being hostile to neutral.

- You can lose control of you dens as you gain notoriety. You'll be able to send your own troops after the templars if you're unable to make it back to the specific den that's being attacked. You can do that by making it to any of the other dens that you currently control. You'll also be able to install a master assassin to control a specific den and you'll never have to worry about it being taken over.

- The assassin leveling mechanic has been increased from 10 to 15

- In order to make the world more immersive they've done away with traditional side missions in favor of random events. For example you may be traveling through a city and notice a shop owner being robbed or a little girl asking for help

- They're using a new type of capture facial technology called Mocam that GI describes as an "intriguing amalgamation of traditional animation, performance capture and the fascinating new style of performance on display in games like LA Noire."

- Desmond is placed back inside Animus where he finds a safe mode called the 'Black Room'. You'll be able to access Desmond's lost memories through that back door

- The gameplay during Desmond's game is described as narrative-fueled puzzle sequences. "Through the manipulation and creation of geometry with the game world, Desmond seeks to reintegrate the splintered layers of his subconscious."

- Multiplayer is returning but this time they're trying to give more focus to the narrative since that's a big part of AC

- You'll be able to custom your character appearance and weapons as well as create guilds.
