If someone is buying from Amazon with GST invoice and reselling it at below Amazon's MRP, how are they making a profit without pocketing the tax? That's the part I don't understand.
Prolly because they opened the product and there is one more catch after searching for serial number that was given on the motherboard, I found out the warranty will end on August 2025 but the product was bought on 26 December 2022 and the motherboard has warranty of 3 years. So idk who registered the warranty on August 2022 even though seller bought product on 26 December 2022. So I'm finding all of this way too suspicious
And one more funny part i searched for the serial that was given on motherboard itself (not the box) and it says. At this point i have no idea whats happening and what this is supposed to mean

Hmm too many issues going on in this deal. You said OP offered to "edit" the bill for you. Perhaps they edited the purchase date as well? That might explain why they got spooked when you said you wanted to record it as a business purchase and is refusing to give you the unedited bill.

Edit: @mods further proof that sellers should share original bill before payment, if not to buyer, at least to mods. Once money is transferred there is no protection for buyer, since they have to trust blindly.

Yup exactly and there was key ring missing from the box (not a big issue) but my suspicion started when he said he has no idea like dude seriously. Then i suspected he might have fallen for one of those open seal scam where people open the product n stuff and reseal it with some sort of technique so i asked for bill and contacted asus support right away. They were ready to rma the product but they asked for invoice.Later they said i have problem with everything and I'm asking things too much etc. After i told them I'll pursue this matter legally they messaged me saying I haven't received any legal notice yet and kept mocking me with their laughing emoji (idk what they are expecting) plus there is no reason for me to take a tampered gst bill. If it was non gst one i would take it without issues but this it could lead to trouble
 
And in OP's case are they the customer or a reseller?
Depends. You can either be the end consumer or reseller. Example: You buy stationery for your office, you're a consumer and if you own a stationery shop, you're a reseller. Either ways you can get a refund of GST. Only the end consumer(citizens / individual consumer for personal needs) of a good / service must be charged GST and not the businesses who either are middle men or consumer.

Since @bloomfield295 has already decided to keep the invoice, arrangements need to be made to get the motherboard back as well.

@bloomfield295 please check your earlier sale threads and make sure everyone has received invoices.
I am unable to locate any buyer who has received the invoice from you.
I clearly told the buyer to send the motherboard back yesterday and I told him I will refund him once I get the motherboard back but he is having absolutely no faith in me and ultimately blamed all on me. Now please i request you to stop asking me to do anything. He himself wanted to keep the motherboard and the way he has presented everything is something very unlikely.

As for other members who haven't got the invoice are those who forgot to ask for it. Anyways I will make sure to send invoice to each and every one. As far as I remember there are just two members who i haven't sent the invoice.

Why don't you tell them your conditions? You said i bought mods right when i offered em as middle man. You wanted me to apologize for stating truth so that you can save your rep? You couldn't even answer yesterday when i asked if you have invoice? You are arranging invoice from your brother since 15 days yet you can arrange screenshot or proof of purchase from him when needed ? It's ironic the person who has no faith in anyone here uses their platform, complains to mods when you don't trust them. Then claims I don't risk things

Request members to only share inputs that will help the buyer and seller close the deal.

Ok, just list everything you want him to do to ensure the motherboard reaches you safely.
Pictures, packaging, shipping insurance (is it applicable?), etc.

Mods don't do escrow.
The buyer can consider receiving payment after the package is delivered. Note he has paid you first for this buy thread and accepted payment later for his sale thread.

You can sort out apologies etc later.

Seller should refund his some money. Its not buyers fault at all. Its so unethical to NOT provide the invoice AFTER you have taken the payment. The seller did write "Invoice available - Yes" in his post, right ?

i already told him that i will refund the money back once i get the motherboard but he told me what is the guarantee that i will return his money, this is his problem, even when i agreed to take the motherboard back, he still created problems. Only then i told him do whatever you can then, i am done with you. (and i am sorry, i will not send money to a middle man). I sent him the parcel using the charted bus because we are from the same state and he was suppose to do the same and i would have got the motherboard today morning. Once i get the motherboard and all the accessories i sent, i will physically inspect the board but there are few more things that he has to agree up on before sending the product, i will mention them one by one here.

Even now you're acting like I committed a grave sin by asking for invoice and cabinet. You feel like you have upper hand and you're the only one who can set conditions and terms and everyone has to agree with you. Please don't be so delusional. If you're that worried about your reputation ask yourself what have you been doing for past 15 days before i mentioned the issue in forum.

  1. The pic you upload in the forum during sale had disturbance or whatever pic attached below
  2. You said that you had no idea where it went and the warranty was registered on August instead of December (the day you bought motherboard) idk about you but a normal person would think someone owned motherboard before you? Or you're hiding something. I didn't accuse you of anything even then waited patiently for invoice so I can discuss same with asus.
  3. This issue has been cleared n number of times. You just don't have real invoice and you tried to scam me. You couldn't even produce invoice in front of mods
  4. My concerns were genuine. The issue was not created by me. It was created by you by not providing invoice and mentioning wrong warranty on your thread

Innocent or not but can you answer this do you have invoice yet? Dw ik the answer you don't. The invoice you uploaded in the forum, I'm sure something is wrong with it.

There are just two members whom I need to send the invoice to. I have contacted both of them and the invoice will be shared once I reach home tomorrow morning. I will tell them to mention it to you once the invoice is sent to each of them
Then send him the refund first.
And he will send you the motherboard after you decide on your few things.

Have you sent the other members their invoices?
invoice has been sent to one of the members out of two, waiting for the other member to reach back to me.

this guy is a a douchebag of the highest order @bloomfield295 , I have been pointing this out repeatedly and you have been deleting the posts, he is actually asking for a unconditional apology ie borderline begging before he makes things right , PLEASE ACTUALLY GO THROUGH THE MESSAGES.

who the hell does that? how is apology ever a pre condition in fulfillment of a contract or sale ? unless the person has no intention of making things right and just want to sabotage it by making stupid unreasonable demands unrelated to the deal.

That's why I gave up. I feel like he has no intention of refund or whatsoever. Just because of his behaviour I can't even ship him motherboard cause I don't feel it's safe I told him motherboard is untouched and i can send him videos and everything to verify but he wasn't interested in that at all. He told me i have to ship it back to him and he will decide if refund is feasible or not. So basically at that point it's his choice and he gets to decide everything. Hes stating his demands like I'm the one who did everything wrong here and I have to comply with them. If I accept his condition 1 he is ready with condition 2 and so it goes on. If i solve his issues day later he forgets em and mentions the same issues like they were never solved. If i talk about motherboard he brings up cabinet,if i talk about cabinet he brings up psu price, if i resolve all this he brings up his reputation and apology and how he got nothing to lose then cycle repeats again. Ultimately I realised he wants me to beg and be at his mercy which is not happening. I suggested someone to be middle man like te mod or someone trusted but yet again he wasn't interested and told me i bought mods for the deal. I told him if he finds anything wrong with motherboard he can tell the middle man not to pay me but again he doesn't trust anyone. Tbh his behaviour is more fraudulent and skechy
