Like the title says , All The Best for CAT :cat: 2006:cool2:

I'm leaving today eve, travelling to cozy-kode to write it. not that serious though, having been unceremoniously kicked out of all interviews last year due to lack of any work experience :(

this is more like a mock CAT for CAT 2009/2010 , when I'll have at least 2 years of solid workex :devil2:

havent prepared one bit , cus my 0utflowsys DOJ Is right after CAT :rofl:

I wonder who all from TE writing it:)

not kicked out per se, :D, just dint get thru

they dint say it was my lack of workex, but pple with workex but lesser rank, and those who i had owned in the discussions got thru

Screwed up XL because of my apparent inablity to make eye contact(the interview panel confirmed it :( ) .. i was literally ":ashamed:" hope a bit of exposure @ work will cure that too :)

Oh, and I can relate to greeny.. no work ex + 99.05 percentile in CAT '03, no IIM calls.. all sections > 95% :S

What?? NO CALLS!! Thats almost impossible!
Honestly a 95%ile+ in each section almost inevitably results in a BLACKI, with or without work-ex!
 
Yup Workex is not required per-se. More that 60% people at IIMs are freshers.

I dont think work-ex is the reason. However for some courses workex is required and its mentioned in the brochure.

Yeah.. what can I say.. I'm one of those "evitables"..
No idea why that happened.. engineering marks were decent as well, 1st class.. Bombay U.

Oh well. I graduated from a decent B-School anyway, and I got placed in a rather large co., so I'm happy.. could be happier though ;)

Well its too early to assess your performance as it takes a week for all the results to fall in place. Right now every coaching will have a separate set of 'right' answers, esp for VA section.

But still guys you can discuss the format and how you felt about the paper's difficulty level.

All the best for the results. May the 'right' answer set be the 'right' answer set for you.
 
yups... the verbal bit was a b****h

most of us are still :O

and the other sections were TOO easy :|
