My English is ssooooo poor... :(

Quant : 28

DI : 36

Eng : 12 :(

No chance of cutoffs in eng visible. :(

But good paper :clap: Liked the paper very much...

And f**king one mistake in my set.... i.e. one mistake in the question i attempted was wrong... i had set 111 and the readership wala question had a mistake... It was printed correct in set 222 and 444.. :(

I have heard that such questions are discounted from all the papers.... :(

EDIT :Bah i checked with the TIME key... good enuf... seems I've blown VA/RC big time :(
 
ims/career launcher/time seem to have different answers man!! .. i guess shall wait for some more time for a conrete answer key to be out :)
 
I'm getting 40+ in both VA & DI..

But screwed up my QA big time..More than 35 Mocks+FLT's+AIMCATS & I never committed so many mistakes in QA..but guess had to happen one day..The wrong day :(

The easiest section & I blew it..!! :(
 
^^ dood .. tell me abt it!! number system sums and i blew it up!! fawking hell!!..

i cant belive it.. worse was i had done all the easy chaps in maths and no. sys was one of em and ****ing hell i screwed up big time.. i dont think i'll be getting more then 8 marks in quant :(

how you calculating your scores? on the basis of which answer key? any links?
 
Hmmm.. going by what I have heard from many people, one of us has done considerable well. Now if only he can hold the VA together he'll be going to some IIM gd/pi for sure.

And then there is another who just needs to clear the cutoffs for DI. He easily has the 99.99%tile kinda score in Quant.
 
Am sorry guys..... I was mistaken...the official answers are not yet out....

What I heard was one of the training centres giving out the answers....
 
^^ Almost all have given out their own versions of answers....

There is discrepancy only in the answers of eng. CAT makes even the professors who are gurus in eng have different answers... :S

Absolutely....a friend is getting 28 using one set of results and 12 with another.....
 
dint bother to apply to anything beyond the IIM's this year. other than the VA/RC . i think i might have an okayish score. are there any top 20/25 institutes i can still apply to now which take CAT scores:huh:
 
IMI Delhi cut off 94%tile, IMT GHaziabad around 97%tile, TAPMI Manipal 90%tile, NITIE 95%tile, BIM Trichi, SP Jain, XIMB

this is all approx for last year and you have already lost out on MDI as the last date is gone.

I bet no one is in the situation I was last year. That was funny as hell. I suppose I can safely find it funny now that I am sitting here in grad school. If I weren't I would be swearing and cursing.

Didnt want to freshen the wounds but now that you have brought it up, yes yours was a classic case. Incidentally people have done something similar this year to their DI scores.

99.8%tile overall and 70%tile in DI.. right?

But I hope that the DI cutoff be lower even though everyone says it was easy.
 
Yes, you have a good memory.

Well, I am sitting in the US and so am not too upset about that whole fiasco. I am doing good with internship offers from nvidia, Amazon and (hopefully) MS as well. So no need to worry about DI and other such yucky things no more.
