ATB for CAT 2006

[rant] the results were supposed to be out today, and two IIM's backtracked. and thats the kind of performance you get from those who are responsible for some of india's best geeks of management.

still all we get are pages timing out, just confirmation that results will indeed be published, but "show me the results!!!!!!!!!!!"

theyre still nowhere to be found , and 'the' indian mba forum servers seem to be going up in smoke :rofl: hope that never happens to TE

didnt sleep yesterday, didnt eat today, and still all i get to see are pages timing out

anyone had any better luck?

A friend got 96.51 %tile....how good is that ?? She also got her lowest of 76 in Verbal.... .

^^^Possible..but to be honest a bit unlikely..

Since MDI also looks at sectional cut-offs, a score below 85%ile in any section really sets back ur chances..

^Duuuude.. greenhorn -> bad luck yaar. An 85% or so in Verbal would have got you all 6 calls + SPJain for sure!

LRDI : 93.93

VA : 99.79

QA : 27.01

Overall : 90.76

There goes another year!!

EDIT: Needless to say..I HATE Quant!! Grrr...

Preliminary analysis

Students with overall percentiles of 97 or less can still hope to get calls from one or more of the IIMs if their percentiles in the individual sections are more than 90. This also means that as predicted in this space after CAT, there is a possibility that at 105 scores people may get the calls from the IIMs.

Also, the score at which IIM-A is taking its cut-off is 120. This also means that students with a higher score can hope to receive more than one call. Those with good sectional percentiles (over 96) can get all six calls too.
