Graphic Cards ati 4850 a worthy upgrade?

I have been using MSI R4850 1GB OC Edition for an year now...Its working perfectly and gives great performance on FULL HD resolution even with Pentium D 2.8..

no matter how far the 4850 lasts , its still not future proof. it wouldn't we wise to go for a 4850 in this age.

played halflife 2 episode 2 yesterday...the fps was around 180..with medium details...when I increased all the details to its maximum the fps dropped down to 60...and it was very playable...

do you guys know how to fix the cyclic redundancy error..i am not able to extract gears of war game..

u probably have vsync on, turn it off temproraily in case u wanna chk hw high ur fps can actually go.

CRC error, probably medium, dvd or so, corrupt...
