Bangalore : Did BSNL upgrade 256UL to 512+ ?

am actually looking to change my stupid tata indicom connection, maybe this is the alternative

can anyone tell me what pings they get to sg servers with this?

All my pings to starhub SG in TF2 are between 100 and 200. And it never lags for me @ 256kbps UL.

I am noticing this as well for the past couple of days. I searched around on forums to see if someone else experienced this but, just came across this thread today.

Am on 256 UL plan and I first noticed this when FlashGet gave me average speeds of 56 KB/s during download.

Just ran the Speedtest.net test which shows 762 kb/s download and 550 kb/s upload speeds. Pings are between 70 - 100 ms.

Hope they do that. I would be great.
