So started playing again after 3 months I think!! Man I had forgotten how addictive this is!

I'm not using anything so no personal experience but going by the reddit community many are using the FXAA and are doing fine.

man recon is totally destroyed in bf3!! i got a 6 kill streak in bc2 in my first game yesterday.. one thing though, recoil for all classes is overtly realistic. seems i need more practice

Yeah man.... Cannot spray fire using P90 at all.. Damn bad recoil... G36C is far more balanced, but one will get pawned using it for short encounters

My fav engineer weapon is A-91 but i started using G36 recently and i am impressed but i still feel no gun can beat A-91, it's a beast especially with a suppressor.

Recon? I have never touched and i doubt i ever will. It requires a lot of patience and more chances of getting knifed lol.

seriously the LMG is horrible without the unlocks.. You can spray with that like hell but real crappy aim

as a matter of fact majority of the basic weapons are seriously flawed!! unless you unlock it is a colossal waste..

Recon is an awesome class dude.. especially in caspian border.. very easy kills there due to the extremely large maps.. but that coupled with crappy gun initially and no mortar(Why??? Why?? that is the hallmark of a recon!!!) it is very tough going. deaths are very less, accuracy is above 50 percent atleast, but kills are also less:(

as a matter of fact i was not knifed once during operation firestorm...

IMO M249 iron sights are pretty ok! Earlier i was all about assault but when you play other classes and try their weapons then you get to know how awesome they are. Also, assault class has no weaponry against tanks/vehicles/air..

Now 95% of the time i play engineer or support, depending on the map.

All in all just play whatever suits you.

@DigitalDude: I am not going to use the injector, have been kicked few times without any reason and dont want it to happeN often

Finally someone is aware that the guns in Battlefield 3(atleast for low rank players) are absolute crap

While the guns such as M63 and M64 are better what pisses me out that they get changed for different deployments

I think I will improve when I unlock the Scar H and PKP Pencheng
 
I am level 10 and loving my m249 with a holographic optic and fore grip, killer weapon......but I must say was enjoying playing engg with the rocket launcher on 64 slot server, every spam rocket would yield a kill :)
 
Logged in after a long time. Couldn't find any indian servers? What happened? There is even no option to select indian region now.

Damn. I am getting minimum 210ms ping for other servers. It becomes difficult now to play.

I play assualt or sniper. I find i am better at it than others classes.

But i do dish out the medpack whenever i can. Even same case for ammo. Anytime i take cover i put it out.
 
OK! I'm not sure what's wrong with this god-forsaken game, but even after a graphic card upgrade, the cut-scenes seem to have a horrible stutter. Within the game, it works fine (Ultra Settings). Has anyone experienced this issue? I have already completed the game on the 360, so won't matter to me. But my brother plans to play this title and I'd probably like to know what triggers this issue. Another issue is that the in-game, some area seem to be extremely dark and I mean "Who-turned-off-the-lights?" kind-of dark. Turned the brightness level to max, but the results aren't satisfactory. Same goes for the games colour levels, which look dull. Last but not the least, long load times at the start of any level. Ram issue, I'm assuming? I have only 2Gigs of it.
