I don't want to pursue you more into buying Windows Phone, but I just to clarify : YOU CAN INSTALL WINDOWS APPS FOR FREE.

You better go with Android since you are more inclined towards it. I'd chose Xperia Mini if size is not a concern or else Walkman.

ya its a good phone.. I got a video review of this phone.. But Cost is too high for me !!

If 14k is your magic figure then go for Nokia 710 it'll be in your budget.

But if you still don't want to buy a WP check out Defy / Defy plus with an eBay discount coupon its better than the others in this price range.

there are plenty of windows apps that are free.

i recommended windows 7 because its more stable and your mom will go through lesser hassle then she would if she had a droid.Also the usability and features are more easily accessible in windows 7 since it has a fairly simple ui.

i know it has got simple UI.. But there are some problems..

Cost is high !!

Mom knows how to handle android !

So there is no question of Simple UI !!

Why not go to shop with your mom & let her decide ? That'd be great I guess.

ya correct i have decided some set of phones !!

and i llshow it to the Mom and mom will take the final decision !!
