PC Peripherals Best Fan for use with ThermalRight XP90C

Quad, the Antec 3700 comes with a rear 120mm fan and trust me its pretty good. I am also in the market for a front intake fan so PM me about your final choice too. The front intake fan should not be fancy as there is a dust filter just in front of it. Also no LED fan will be visible in the front.

The 3700 is a big case and very roomy, even at 2.1 Ghz I have so far not had any heating issues, max temp goes up to 46 degrees, so test before you buy the second fan.

Wishing you luck in your purchase !

Thanks Anish , so the default antec rear is ok what about front intake.

PM ? , its ok here.

What about sound of the Rear 120mm Antec Fan

Guys is it worth getting this fancy thing , i really liked it

Dont fall for the prices of the stuff alone.. Do consider the shipping charges, which are quite a lot, depending on which state u r buying from

bottle owns that i think, but a silver one, hes the man to answer that really ;)

Bottle has the Coolermaster one. I liked this Aerocool one too, very much.. but then i didnt get it coz i know i wudnt use it that much..

seems pretty standard.. should be ok. but i dont think using up 2 of your 5.25" bays is a good thing :P
by the way , it looks like its out of stock

Well i dont think i will now waste money on it.
Later after i build my rig and if some money remains then only i will make any
investments in fancy things.

On request of quadmaster... this was a pm between us

Yup seems good. The only other retailer i see having at that price is xoxide. I trust sidewinder more than xoxide. So go for it. BTW don't u think xp90c is a bit too heavy? I'd have gone for the aluminium version as they cool equally well.

Well np with weight.
I want to OC my 3500+ Venice which darky is helping me in getting to atleast 2.7-2.8Ghz so need that
cooling and whats better than XP90C.
Hm... I don't know... don't see the point of spending 20$ extra for 1-1.5 degree reduction in temps and also putting double the weight on the cpu. Ur wish anyway ;).

Well if the difference is 20$ i might give it a second
thought.

Which one wud u suggest XP90 or XP120 [aluminium]

I read in the round up that XP90 peforms better.

What do u suggest.

Plz continue this discussion in the Thread

let others also benifit from our discussion.

Thanks a lot Chaos.

Quad Master

I'd suggest a Panaflo 120mm fan(around 100cfm) + XP120 unless you have a mobo incompatible with it!

Thanks Chaos

Chaos has suggested me to go for Aluminium version of XP90 as it will make
a difference of 20$ and also cool less by 1-1.5Degree , and also will be less heavy.

XP90 or XP120 which is better.

I intend to overclock my Venice 3500 to 2.7-2.8Ghz

The Mobo which i am getting is ASUS A8N Sli Premium or Delux [only if no premium is available]

What do you say guys.

@ bottle - will now think of it later.
ne ways whats the cost of aerogate 2

Aerogate 2 looks cooler and has a larger display than Aerogate 3. I ordered one at the beginning of the month for around 36$+shipping from coolpc. Hasnt arrived yet... god knows where its stuck :S.

i say go for the xp 90 as well and save some money.. i have used and xp 90 and a x0 120 and only found a few degrees difference in temps. with a higher speed fan you may not even notice all that much of a difference in temps.

highh speed fan = more noise != quadmaster

hope everyone knows C...hehehe

BTW, i read that Tornado 92mm @ 5V gives around 60cfm and is silent...is it true????

vantec Tornado 92mm gives 112CFM at 5600RPM, 56dB

will help if u want to experiment on super ocing :ohyeah:

my advice is, get both fans. Use the tornado when u are ocing ;)

Better, get a fan controller and the tornado....
