Best Mobile to surf Internet ?

Can anyone suggest best mobile to surf internet on phone in 15000 to 17000 Rs ?

Requirement:
Should be able to surf full sites (NOT JUST WAP Sites) same as computer
Big Touch screen
Supports GPRS & preferably 3G

Few of Short listed models -
iPhone 2G/3G,
Nokia 5800/5230,
Not sure of any HTC mobiles.

Please suggest & share.
 
I am using my 5230 and it is relly a charm to surf the internet on it. But i think iphone would be good because of dimensions of the screen, bit more broad compared to long types of 5230/5580. Moreover the price difference between iphone and 5230 is a no brainer and you save lots if you get a 5230.

u can go for the 5230 or maybe 5800 even though 5230 will serve ur purpose..maybe u can try a couple of omnia's too
 
Ma city Nokia Rep. at Nokia Dealer told that with 5230, 3G calls are not possible as very slow speed. I didn't get what he mean, he tried to explain but still ..... i didn't get anything... what I got is that he do not want me to buy Nokia 5230... instead pushing 5233...
 
5230 doesnt have wi-fi i believe.an internet phone without wi-fi ? what the hell.

get the 5800 or the galaxy spica if you like samsung.But make sure you go for a smartphone.Dumb-phones tend to get boring in the long term.

It does not have a secondary front camera like the 5800, that is why video calls are not possible.

+1 ... As Adobe is trying hard to bring Flash support to iPhone ... we should see results by the end of May or June :ohyeah:

Besides ... u may not be visiting/using websites with Flash content
 
iPhone as it has all the features of good internet phone. There are thousands of apps to choose from, Nokia doesn't even come close to it as far as apps are concerned. However, iPhone is expensive.

I don't like Windows mobile in HTC. I used it and hated the slow unresponsive windows.

Nokia is overall very good, and much better than HTC IMHO. Though it doesn't stand anywhere near iPhone.
 
my two cents.samsung galaxy spica runs android 1.5 which is buggy and does not support bluetooth transfer.those who have hacked it and installed android 2.1 report slow performance and frequent crashes.htc phones mostly have windows 6.xx which is a dead os now and is outdated.stay away.iphone is too expensive in india in my opinion.so best and stable os right now is symbian s60v5 which means devices like 5800,5230,5233,5530. it has max no. of apps(except iphone of course for android all good apps are paid and not available in india yet but for symbian..dedicated facebook,skype,nimbuzz,opera,google mobile apps packs are available.it can be customised very easily.it supports 16 gb micro sd cards(works with 32 gb cards acc to some websites).5230 has better os than 5800 but i think with firmware upgrade you can get same updates.so i think in indian conditions nokia is best.if you are not crazy about touch screen then nokiae63,71,72 are excellent options.all have same software but screen is 2.36 inches as compared to 5800 and 5230.
p.s. i think ur dealer is trying to convince you to buy 5233 because he does not have 5230 in stock.:-)
 
Samsung has very poor apps & Phones like star dont even support jar files properly.

Fixed b/w iPhone & Nokia 5230.. 5800 seems to be costly deal..

Nokia 5230 - Which browser do you use to surf net ?
 
Personal experience of net surfing:

iPhone: 9/10

HTC android: 5/10

Nokia 5800: 7.5/10

Samsung some touch rs.20k model: 5/10

iPhone's pros and cons:

+ iphone has got loads and loads of Common sense

+ Ease of use

+ Touch quality and precision

- Cant be used as a download rig :rofl:

Is browsing on an iPhone equivalent to browsing on an iTouch? What other significant differences are there b/w the itouch and iphone except the phone feature?

There is no difference between iPhone and iTouch as far as browsing is considered. :)

USED iPhone 3G can be bought from 14k to 16k from USA via eBay.com easily. Bought 3 of them for my friends around 3 months ago. :ohyeah:
