Congratz! Playing with the PB from one of my friends, who purchased it from BB Showroom, it showed over 13 GB free after adding 4-5 applications.

Btw, I thought it would charge through USB-Lappy but no.

Interface looks ok. Too much space on sides of screen left empty/useless. This could have been utilized or tab size could have been reduced further.

It did charge from the lappy (the battery icon changed from battery to charging) but was slow.

+1 for the design concern. Too much space on the side, they could have reduced the space and weight.
 
Damn... Got a mail from Letsbuy saying my shipment will be delayed...

Funny that they stated the obvious "You ordered a device that is selling like hotcakes"... Is this even a valid reason for delayed shipment??? :S

They can't port Android unless they find a way to root the OS bootloader which is protected by MShield technology...
I have posted my vote anyway... Hope to get Android soon, if not i am happy with Android player

I too got the similar mail today.

Then i called letsbuy CC and when i checked my account later, i wasn't able to find the order...:(
 
^^ Atleast my order is still showing under my account details... Still letsbuy promising that it will be delivered within 7 days..

Talked to the CC, and as per her, LB would honor the SLA of 2-4 Working Days :bleh:... booked on 29th Dec, so it's 3 working days so far
 
I received the package from flipkart , but there is no ear phone inside the package , have any one of u received a ear phone....?

SLA is 4 - 7 working days buddy.. I too booked on 29th Dec... Today is 4th Working day..

Flipkart is damn fast...

As per their order page and CC, it's 2-4, anyway going by their track record, I am almost certain they won't honor that :(
 
Weird!! My order page showed as 4 - 7 days...

Anyway waiting to get my hands on it.. Already prepared a few items

1) PB OS 2.0.0.4869 which can be rooted
2) Dingleberry 2.x
3) Putty
4) WinSCP
5) DDPB Installer
6) Few games including let's golf, angry birds, Asphalt 6 etc
7) Few apps
8) Google apps based on cyanogen mod 7 ( to have android market on PB)
9) A few launcher like honeycomb, ICS etc..

Give me !!! Give me!!! Gimme playbook now.. Damn letsbuy!!! Damn you.. ;)

galaxy tab has 592 RAM,1GHz Processor,3.1MP camera whereas playbook has 1GB RAM,dual core 1GHz processor and 5MP camera...

They are not sure whether they can procure playbook or not..

I heard on tv that blackberry extended the sale further 1 week seeing the demand.
