Got this. Works okok with a Sony xm3. No lipsync lag. Range is kinda poor.

Headphones are bt 5.0 , if usb is 4.0 will it be an issue? I have an generic one but that's causing lag. Same Headphones work fine on laptop.

Should not cause any issues afaik. Bt 5.0 features won't apply. Suggest u order it and if it doesn't meet your purpose then u can return it in a day or 2.
