Just saw some footage. Some real worrisome observations I had are

Police are so so unprepared to take on such force. You really can't blame them. They have no training, no vests, no automatic weapons, no nothing. They can't even hold off until military/paramilitary get to the scene.

There should be copters, firemen, military, paramilitary on scene within the hour. So much delay.

The whole Taj could burn given the flames that have erupted. It needs to be brought under control.

I think we should focus on dealing with such situations when there has been no intelligence for this crisis. Sadly, what hurts most is the lack of preparedness we have to deal with such a situation. A cost we are paying for so so dearly.
 
Man such incidents remind us to value life and ur loved ones.One minute u could be eating diner in a nice swanky place and the next minute this .

Also all doubts and corruption aside the policemen should finally be given their due for having the courage to risk their lives in the line of duty and country
 
... till we have people who care more about Cricket than Nation & innocent peoples life .... really is desh ka kuch nahin honey wala. :(

We really need to salute them..... Its in situations like these that the true patriotism comes out.....

Honestly I wish those f***king terrorist c**nts die a miserable death... Not one of them must be spared... Shoot them ... revive them .. then shoot them again .... They shud suffer unbearable pain before they die...... :(

Whats worrying me more is the ease with each they carried out the entire operation ..... At this juncture whats to stop another attack like this after a few days....

Blaming the government is a natural response.. But just think about it ..... What cud have been done better ?

I really don't get it ... Religious extremists are committing acts of stupidity and utter disgrace.....

A community/country(ies) is being held responsible for all the attacks.....

What are those eunuchs gaining ..... What they are acheiving eventually is more hatred towards their community..... Muslims will be hated even more ....

I just hope this attack doesn't lead to communal violence.... Innocent Muslims lives cud be in danger after this.....

I hope and really pray that ppl from other religions do not take matters in their hands and start wreaking havoc in a country that is already shattered internally to an extent where saving it is almost impossible.....

I also hope for once that the opposition parties do not take this as an opportunity (slim chance.really) to gain political mileage and start blaming ppl ......

We need to stand together in the present situation and hope the nation bounces back and finds an effective solution to problems like these in the future...

Again may the souls of those lost their live RIP :( ......

also if u had seen history channel about terrorists,when they interviewed a EX CIA officer they said the only reason why US is not attacking pak like iraq is because they have nukes,further more they call pakistans airforce as AL quaeda air force ,he also sais terrorists like al queda are from a decade trying to procure nukes.also one of the head of pakistan ISI agency warned osama bin laden when US forces where just few miles away to take him down,the ISI agent was proud of whathe did.:@

if the world wishes to attack pak now is the time,if the nukes arent used ,we will suffer low casulity,for sure our airforce will have zero casulity ,our IAF SU-30MKI can detect their F16 engage them with R77 missile ,they wont even know until they are blow out of the skies,a single SU 30MKI can take out 8 F 16s ,once we dominate their airspace, send in the troops,in the mean time we should get the ANTI MISSILE defence sytems ready.offcourse the US would definetly join us from the west,if i can remember US elect OBAMA said they even will strike deep within pak if he as too.

finaly RIP for those people who lost their lives. :(

Do any one believe that the Officers Karkare (ATS Chief) & Salskar (made 75 encounter) get Killed by Bullet from terrorist? when they already knows that they are going to hand to hand with terrorist. Are they so careless, and we watch on TV that Karkare wear helmet & bullet proof jacket before move forward. They get killed... by terrorists fire .... Can't Digest?
 
I heard the news late last night. My bro was at Taj yesterday. Thankfully he moved out before all this started.

I hope and pray every member's family and relatives are safe. A sad day for India :(

dude check the picts of surroundings...they have ak47 so much bullet marks all ard even at the cafe place....their is no chance with their service revolver they would had survived.......this has been big becoz of the AKs involved in it else commando wont have been needed at all......

How will a person survive when 10 bullets come out in 3 second and also chances of surviving in that period...almost impossible....

If this would had been a political violence i could have believed but not on this
 
I said Government (no matter which party) are only RESPONSIBLE for such attacks... why there is no attack in US after 9/11, why no terrorist attack in UK after Glasgow fiasco, why no such in Australia, newzeland... because there govt. not WORK/Managed for How We Can Come In To Ruling Again After term finished but works like It's Our Responsibility To Protect Nation & People No Matter We Come In To Ruling Again Or Not.

e.g. Bush very well know that after Iraq/Afghanistan mission he may be not able to secure his seat for next term but still he do what he think is best for HIS NATION...

... & Today we Want Politician who work for Nation & not for MISSION ( MONEY)

they (officers) might have faced against terrorist first time.......

even if they wear a helmet n BULLETPRROF JACKETS.......those jackes will fail to block bullets frm. AK-47 n that too inside frm. buliding .

i was quite happy befre that INDIA does not invest much on defence (compared to other nation , n the arms POLICE have)

now i seriously think...or's DEFENCE system must have been stornger ..with better arms , ammunation .

i saw footage on TV.......cammond in balck.....are they SPECAIL FORES ?
i see them carrying sniper rifles .

News channel graphics shows that they were shot by a distance of 6-10 feet when they were moving towards their car.
And some reporter on NDTV India said that the snipper can see across the wall. huh..
 
Do we exactly need this thread. as any update that we need are on TV; what is the sense of seeing them on TV and posting pots here.

Discussing sort coming & finger pointing is strictly no no here.

if thats' true then AK-47 BULLET will easily get inside HELMET n KEVLAR (BULLETPROOF JACKETS)
if you have seen show "FUTURE WEAPONS" on DISCOVERY channel u will get it ........n AK-47 is very powerfull .

so are new troops deployed are the SNIPERS ?
