Just saw some footage. Some real worrisome observations I had are
Police are so so unprepared to take on such force. You really can't blame them. They have no training, no vests, no automatic weapons, no nothing. They can't even hold off until military/paramilitary get to the scene.
There should be copters, firemen, military, paramilitary on scene within the hour. So much delay.
The whole Taj could burn given the flames that have erupted. It needs to be brought under control.
I think we should focus on dealing with such situations when there has been no intelligence for this crisis. Sadly, what hurts most is the lack of preparedness we have to deal with such a situation. A cost we are paying for so so dearly.
