According white house spokesman the US did see some form of activities by Pakistan to scramble their assets against the US forces and US never informed pakistan until all their birds where out of pakistan airspace.

Leave alone Black hawk down, this actually has happened when a US surveillance plane crashed while returning within the Chinese borders. The crew was just able to remove the data. iinm some of the data was still left and the Chinese made a big fuss about it.
 
How in the world, could have US pulled off a strike operation (40 minutes) and Pakistan did not realize. Bang opposite to a military establishment. Obviously there was a nexus here. But probably the deal was straight cut. We need a 40 minute window. No help from you. You cannot even spectate. DARE NOT warn your guest that the big wolf is comin'..

US did this bcoz Pakistan is not trustworthy... i am just wondering A World Most Wanted Terrorist was living in their country since last 6 to 7 years and they didn't know that he was living in their country? Well Pakistan is a money whore... I am just wondering how much money America must have been paying to Pakistan since last 6 to 7 years for just the permission for keeping their military base in pakistan... Americans knew that Pakistan is gonna do nothing to find Osama so they took the initiative and did what they have been trying to do since last 9 to 10years... The only reason that terrorism is growing within Pakistan is becoz Pakistan is good for nothin... They have the power to destroy terrorism from Pakistan but i dont know why they are not using it... What i think is that Pakistan only must have invited him to live in their Country so that indirectly they can get money and weapons from America...

"Geronimo EKIA" was supposedly the short message conveyed to Obama after the kill. Geronimo was the code name being used to refer to Osama.

EKIA is Enemy Killed in Action.
 
this needs to be added as an episode to the next edition of call of duty! how about an action movie with matt damon in it as well?

tbh i do think obama used this as a bid to garner support for his re-election bid. recently there was an incident of some us spy shooting some pakistani in pakistan and this soured us - pak relations and maybe osama was sold out by the pak to regain aid and trust.

Well it could be a jammer and coupled with some careful flightpath and altitude .
The US used the EA-6B Prowlerin in gulf war one to blind the power full iraqi air defenses.
So a similar devices may have been like the EH-60.

predator is a UCAV (drone)

apache is a attack helicopter. so probably neither were used. imo, apache cannot carry 12 seals.

It was a Commando Mission.. they didn't shot from far or use unmanned drones to kill him...

Navy Seals entered the compound ... neutralised the resistance .. found the target and terminated him... perfect COD mission :)

No, 'E' was the code letter to refer to OBL.

Geronimo is a slang expression and a pretty old one at that.
