No no..I bought it from the US. UK is equivalently or higher priced than India because of the VAT. Not in sterling but USD.

friend wana purchase a celeron laptop for internet purpose only. is acer3683 good? price is 24999 plus tax.

how about compaq c506 ? what does S video output(include component video support) mean in c506? does it have component jacks also?

computer planet is a rip off. The V6211Au listed at 43k there...I gt for 40k all incl in IT mall in the road next to Churchstreet ...very near to comp planet. Also got the carry case as well as a USB mouse free with it.

:) The offer was for 1 gb 533 mhz ram. I paid 1000 bucks more and got the 667 mhz. Total was 43640 + cess(for using card). Net Rs 44000. I paid him 1% cess and not 2%. :p

ACER MALL Manipal Center...Ask for Ravi...

Why the 15K difference for Vista Premium? Home Premium is max 9.5K and the OEM should be even cheaper
