The lowest I could find in India is
Single 16gb DDR4 3200 cl16 stick at 3450.
You can buy 2 sticks to make a pair at 6900
if you want a pair of DDR4 3200 cl16 sticks, lowest now is 9000

On MacBooks, so I don't really need gaming laptops in my life now :)

External HDDs look like they can be helpful, but it's also bulky for someone to carry from the US. Let me check for more portable ones. Thanks for this direction :)
 
It is mostly obscure stuff, that you don't find in India that makes most sense to get from the US.
Enterprise hardware, etc.
Also, they have a huge used goods market, so one can get great deals at times.

All usual electronics/pc stuff have typical 30% customs duty in India so buying from US is always significantly cheaper not to mention many pc components like psu, ram, ssd etc have much larger variety of models compared to Indian mkt which is tagged as "cheap mkt" it seems by many manufacturers so they don't even launch their good models here which cost just a bit more than cheap inferior quality models flooding the mkt here.
