Tried ACT because of the occasional packet loss I was noticing with Valve servers on Cherrinet, and just wanted to compare services. Initially it was fine with ACT, but started having the same packet loss after a while. Just to make sure it wasn't an issue at my end, I tested with my Airtel connection and did not have any loss.
Installation was free for both ACT and Cherrinet. Probably because my apartment complex is large and once they setup their infrastructure, its just a matter of a few meters of CAT5 cable or Fibre cable to each house. From what I read on broadbandforum, Cherrinet were conducting a new connection drive 2 months back where installation charges would be waived off if you showed them a bill of your existing ISP.
