Clarifications/Suggestions for Dell GO

@dingemini, just register for the dealer's paradise and u won't have to worry about any of this. The point u're not getting is ur GOs have going on forever and most ppl here are plain irritated with ur whining and "nice pricing" "EPP programs are risky" or sumthing like that.

If u'll take the time to read mine/ PhOeNiX's GO's 1st post and the last few posts about Dell warranty, u'll get an idea what I'm talking about. The prices u give are very good. No one wants u to stop ur deals. They are just wondering if u shouldn't become a dealer here. The key word is, wondering.

P.S. btw, PhOeNiX is a registered dealer here, so he can very well post in the Dealer's Paradise when he wants to make a profit.

dude i never commented for u ... i have no qualms against phoenix.

anyways to solve ur problem ... i have already closed my GO.
and i will not initiate one until the issues are clarified.

but if i am closin my GO on certain principles led out to me by fellow members..

then there shud be a compulsion for others... tooo

1: BILL shud be compulsory (a big GREY)
2: BILL shud contain name of the Purchaser (avoids GREY)
3: BILL shud be of exact amnt collected ( avoids GREY ) (except shippin)

PS: i cant become a DEALER... i dont earn, my rep used to.. anyways i am better off (but make it mandatory to all) .

PHOENIX owns a real online shop, earns good profit to pay for the dealer section,can give his own bill...... so he can become a dealer.

Btw, why close the GO just because there's a discussion going on? Knee jerk reactions don't pan out well most of the time. Also, u'll be ditching the ones who're depending on u to deliver.

Again I am speaking only for myself.

Even though I might be doing this for no-profit (believe it or not ) or "community service" as to put it in a better way, my contact doesn't feel the same way. For obvious reasons we all know, the deal cannot be discussed on a open phone line. For me, making a quick buck from the deal is not important, I am more concerned about maintaining a good relationship with people and my contact, so that when the time comes, we all can reap more benefits if you look at the bigger picture.
I am not a dealer and neither am I trying to make my pocket money out of the deals, I work and get decently paid. If the mods/admins feel that this GO trend might adversely effect TE's reputation in the long run if anything goes wrong or is reported, they can take appropiate action.

i know that shaken...........

but it hurts after runnin 4-5 successful GO`s...
explaining ppl who call me at their convinience of time irrespective of myself being at some other work, abt which LCD to buy and why they shud buy.
helping them with some small but important settings.
someones LCD got delayed , then makin numerous call to dell and yellin at them.
someone`s LCD got damaged.. then threatening DELL to sue them..
after doing all this .... i end up ON this thread !

i dont give a damn wat ppl are typin here... supra, bottle etc... i dont even know if i mite see them in person in future....

wats hurting me is that after doing so much yet i stand here..

PS: earning here was not my motto at all. i got to make some real good frnds like driftkingNT, vishalrao, Sangram, Bobby Sindhu, anmol kapoor as well as i made good rapport with DELL ppl ...

MONEY... i do have enough of it ... to not risk my credentials @ TE.

I mentioned the part about PhOeNiX being a dealer so someone doesn't jump the gun. Meant nothing against you. Personally, I like what u're doing here. I don't remember which thread, but I had posted somewhere as an encouragement to you to be positive and stop whining "no offence to anyone" etc. and to just to go on with ur great deals.

I just want you to focus and chill. This is not the first time that u have taken criticism or questions in a negative way, if u remember. U do have a tendency to butt in on other's threads Also, the line about u becoming a dealer was part sarcasm about the whole situation and part question/ suggestion.

for phoenix ( that time i really doubted the EPP program) ( i am a member too... if i wud not been cr8in GO`s, then my comments wud had been taken into consideration and given the required importance... )

for SUPRA ( he had mentioned that LG lCD`s are better than Del 2408WFP... and as being one of the first purchasers of the dell 2408 LCD here and using it for a while and still using it ... i just said that u cant say DELL 2408 is less good than..lg.... alteast untill tested one to one .... again the same fumin started n all.... i said sorry and left )

but never expected SUPRA to give such a nice BACK-hittin. KUDOS to u bro..

Tiger, u're the one who said it can't be done . It can be done, except he doesn't need the hassle (exams, remember?). He just opened the GO cos of the prices he was getting. If u go thru that thread, I had posted that other model prices are very good (I meant ur GO) and that's why he took orders only for the 24". Times up for the offer, so that GO is also closed. Chill, man. And I'm not being nice here. I really mean it when I say u should continue with this GO atleast unless the mods have a problem with it.

the bill cant be named on the purchaser of a GO .. only if gettin thru EPP.

if gettin normally.. u can directly even ship and bill to the person who wants one.
no need to ship n all... even i dint knew but i learned.

if wat u are sayin is true abt billed on phoenix name... ( i am not doubtin that instead i am givin some good suggestion which mite help .. no offence plz )

ask the dell rep to bill it on the purchasers name and delivered at the place where the purchaser stays...

if he does not agree... it is very much possible to ship the LCD directly VIA dell to the purchaser even with the BILL being on Phoenix Name.

they (purchaser ) wud get a pukka bill (although on phoenix name)
... and phoenix wud save some hassle of shippin n all... coz dell will bear all the expense for the same without addition to the prices given to u !

i dont mind keepin it ON... but one fine day (mite be today) find that its
not viable to run the same here.

it takes time, patience, money (callin ppl is not free), moreover my precious time which i spent on this GO`s rather then meetin my GAL ... hehe...
hence i wud reinitiate this GO only if something is decided for sure.
for the benefit of a GO creator and the benefit of members.

Rest assured that we will (and always do) give time to anyone who has a presently active GO to finish it off. We did it with one of the dealers, he opted to stay out of dealers section and we still didnt close his previously running GOs.

Its totally upto you to run or close your GOs whenever you want. But as a member I would advise you to continue with it unless there is some decision. This might take some time. Moreover the decision will not be dictat, it will be in consultation with the members. So I am sure everyone's interest would be preserved.

ok, i didnt go through the whole thread, by god, what has become of this thread, btw dingemini, i wud not like to linger with my words but put it very bluntly, the deals you started giving were from the Rep contact info i passed onto you, i think supra got the same no. from me or some1 whom i gave the numbers. I highly doubt that he/she wud be taking a cut out of it, i can very well check it out in a minute but wont like to do that(moreso becoz i am lazy, thats why i didnt go through with the GO i started, and simply passed on the number and the quotes), and i am pretty sure that no Dell rep wud put his job in line for the kind of cut you are talking about.
Point being pass on the deal but in the dealer section and not the individual GO section.

Edit :Reading through some more of the posts in the thread, it seems you are crying out as a saint who is being blamed, why did u get to that situation???? You could have simply passed on the No.s and quotes that i passed onto you, wudnt that have been simpler????

Another point being, i now look at every other GO with suspicion, even the genuine one.

PS : But again these are my thoughts, if they are too offending, mods please delete the post.

You are right when you say that noone does anything for free. So can I safely assume that you are doing this for profit, which is perfectly fine if you are a registered dealer here. If you and your rep have 50 deals here with each monitor's profit being around Rs 1000 for you or/and the "Rep", its only fair that you register yourself as a dealer here since this is actually a regular affair.

Ask yourself why this sounds wrong?
