I didn't got the option to choose in 18-44 category. I got the Covaxin but not sure if I should take the second dose of it as there concerns it is just a placebo.

I have access to all those...sure lot of pages, but they tried to write a book for students, not for hardened microbio or stat guys.
Though haven't read even half of it...there may be useful information too.
But they can forget about US trials.

I am not qualified to answer that, but my thought would be - Take the second dose if the 4/6 week deadline is over, the best we can do right now is mitigate risk. No option to mix and match. Whether Covaxin works or not is yet to be determined, it may not be as effective as others, but I doubt it would be a complete farce.

AFAIK, at present, no.
Most places mandate Aadhar to vaccinate. If the website already has a record of 1 dose of Covaxin, they won't give CoviShield.
With present shortages, I doubt even private hospitals would be willing to do this.

They did.when emergency approval was granted to covaxin.BB hadn't conducted 3rd phase trial.They conducted 3rd phase trials as part of vaccination in Bhopal,Madhya pradesh on poor labourers.They gave some papers mentioning term and conditions and took their signature and rs 720 were paid to each person who got vaccinated.no media channel showed this but NDTV reported it about 3rd human trials as vaccination.BB said they were volunteers but forgot volunteers are not paid money in trials.one person also died after taking vaccine.Soon people forgot about it people were watching vaccine guru on news channels.dont know if they have kept record of anything or it was just piece of paper for media.

As I said if you have any problem or are so adamant about this go ask the govt officials responsible. Or how about this, if you really want to prove me wrong, link a legit news source in which the govt issues new orders against the one I posted.

Dude, you need to calm down. I am not interested in proving anything, to anybody. Just pointing to the present process, options available, that would help people wanting to get vaccinated make a decision.
Cowin clearly mentions the kind of vaccine one is booking an appointment for, slots can be filtered based on CoviShield, Covaxin and age, even Sputnik showed up briefly IIRC. Walk-ins are also clearly told the variant of vaccine being administered that day. Vaccination is a voluntary medical procedure, one can refuse even at the last moment if not to his/her liking.

I'm no expert but if the push for the use of Covaxin issue is based on politics and publicity instead of proper research and documentation then it will not end well for us.
Its obvious that the GoI has become very desperate because of the criticism and backlash from all over the place and will do anything to promote Covaxin regardless of its effectiveness.
Modi's govt has been widely promoting it purely because of it being "Made in India" crap and Bharat Biotech is using this as a launch-pad to advertise themselves. This is what I've noticed for a while now.
Even Sputnik V hasn't been approved by the WHO (yet) but India has already started to "produce" it.
My state is BJP ruled so I won't be surprised if the govt here insist we get Covaxin saying there is no stock of Covishield or other vaccines.

It's actually the other way around, you can find covidshield easily but not covaxin as production of covaxin is way less compared to covidshield and no one can impose anything, you're free to choose whichever you prefer from checking cowin website which shows whichever vaccine is available near your place. There's a difference between imposing/availability

Is there a limit to the number of times an N95 mask maybe reused if properly sterilised using a UVC sterilising box ?
I use Venus V4400 masks and Amtidy UVC Sanitiser Box.
I don't need to frequent dusty places.
