Review Courier Service Feedback

ya..track-on said they dont deliver non document stuff...so no to that...any other? can these shops be trusted btw? or should i go to the main branch offfice and give it to them directly..? because one of the shopkeepers told me to get the product insured before sending it across because there have been cases that the pickup guys from various companies keep the product with themselves if they found out the product is an expensive one....

what to do..??

I do think this should be a sticky.

Never ever use Professional Couriers to send your stuff.
Ill state a few reasons. I think the others should too.

1)Smith recieved a CCFL Broken.

2)Kidoman, didnt recieve his Processor at all, only recieved the packaging. See here.
I fully agree.

I bought an item from ebay and Professional courier delivered it. Since I was not in home, my mother received it. When I opened the package later, it was an empty box. Seller says, that nothing much can be done about it, since I have already accepted the package.

I have opened a case in Ebay.

DHL is awesome.Hongkong to Auckland in less than 2 days.Ordered item on Thursday night got it by Saturday morning.I have a USPS package awaiting for delivery lets see how good are they!

DHL is kickass! The shipment departed from HK on Friday night and reached me at Surat on Tuesday afternoon. This happened to be the very first time I had received a shipment from DHL. :D

Have a similar experience with UPS as well. Fremont, CA, US to Palakkad, Kerala in 4 days flat!

Lots of stuff coming from HK ;)

Sad to hear this. Let us know how it goes. I think opening a package before accepting is not allowed (Blue dart didnt let me do that). Ebay sellers ship the item in a ebay envelope which is sealed before shipping. Only thing we can do is - accept only if the seal is intact. Do not accept if seal is tampered with. In your case, did the sealer use ebay envelope?

Never ever use TCI XPS for couriers. They are the worst in business and they dont care. I had ordered something on ebay and the seller used TCI XPS for delivery. My office location pin code is a a serviceable area as per their website. I called them and they said they dont deliver to my office :@ My package is stuck at a location which is like 10 Kms from my office and they are refusing to deliver.

On top of that when i said that the seller wont use their services any more hey was like "theek hai..i dont care". These are the same things he said to the seller.

The ebay seller called me today to apologize for the fiasco and finally they are going to deliver me my package tomorrow probably. That too i am skeptical about.

PS: This is the first time i heard about this courier company

Nope.

I have escalated the issue for reimbursement of my expenses, from PaisaPay. Apparently, they will take another 30 days to decide whether to reimburse me or not. I am semi-optimistic about it

Recently I got another packet thru' DTDC (a set of books). They allowed me to open the packet before receiving. But what you said is correct, some other courier(i don't remember the name) in the past did not allow me to open the packet

pafex is great for sending less coslty items

i have shipped many items via Pafex to triventrum banglore punjab.. they are best.

if it some mobile of a valuable item prefer TNT or GATI

mediahome uses GATI and they are just great

BlazeFlash: Terrible

They accepted a package from Delhi to Hyderabad. When the package reached Hyderabad (4 days later) they did not deliver saying that the PIN code was outside delivery area even though the Delhi office accepted the package. They did not even update the details on their tracking website.

After multiple calls to Delhi and Hyderabad offices they delivered after 1 more day.

GATI: Terrible (for big items at least)

Used GATI to transport my PC cabinet (packed in original thermocol + cardboard box with additional padding using a thick bedsheet) and Bike (paid extra to GATI for packing it) when I was moved to another city. My PC cabinet's transparent side panel was broken as if some sharp wedge had been driven into it (there was even a dent on the metal panel on the other side) and the bike arrived with a deep 4 inches long cut on one side (that's can't be repaired with a paint job).

DTDC: Good

Does anybody have any feedback on GMS couriers? I've dealt with them about 4 times, cheap service, prompt delivery (<2 days), and they don't ask too many questions.

GMS Express

I tried searching here but gms as a keyword is too short for a valid search. Can't really go through 30 pages.

Very Reliable ?

1) BlueDart ( expensive )

2)Aramex (value for money)

3) Most other couriers send it via Aramex only , like DTDC etc.

Deccan 360 not so good service they did not even know my address and never bother to call ,I had to call them and guide them to my address in Bangalore.
