For potential buyers, this particular device contains an AzureWave-made AW-CE123H module, which is nothing but a half-mini PCIe card powered by the Broadcom BCM4352 chipset.

However, to avoid blocking a PCIe slot and a dedicated USB header (or adding a full-fledged half-mini PCIe slot), ASUS used a special 15 pin connector to mount the package on the motherboard. As a result, the whole device can only be used on certain high-end ASUS mobos from the pre-M.2 era. You can, of course, disassemble it and use the standard components like the half-mini PCIe card or the antennas.
