This Standard Chartered customer care is buggy. Once this girl wanted me to tell her the DOB . I told her 2030 15/05/2012 ESB Bangalore. Took her 5 minutes to figure out what I was saying .

Now using HDFC , Citi and SC. Citi has taken over HDFC as my primary card. Great rewards on the card.

All my CC are visa but I am never able to use the Visa discounts at bookmyshow :|

sbi also is outsourced and screwed up customer care who has its own mind, full or arrogant kids who dont know what is meaning of word customer care.

I wont advice sbi credit card.

I would advice axis bank cc.

hmmm. But Axis has a bad netbanking system, or so I've heard.

Something like that but its was funny because it wasn't an accent issue, not hearing trouble, she just wanted to hear me say my name in a different way. E.g. I said Buddh, she said No it is Buddha. Ah! Leave it, it was funny and such an itch over the phone :-)

Was with Barclay and moved to Standard Chartered after the take over. I was expecting the service to be bad as there are many horror stories online but Stan Chart is been surprisingly good. Haven't had any issues till date.

Been using axis net banking for last 5 yrs or so.
One of the quickest and clean system for net banking.
I have used Sbi Hdfc and this axis.
Out of all three , I always prefer to axis net banking.

Im trying to choose between AXIS, HDFC, ICICI, STAN.CHART., Citi & SBI. Want a card that's free of monthly/yearly usage charges.

Don't want Banks which ask of high minimum deposits. CC/Service should be good & Bank should be reputable.

Should I opt for Debit or Credit card? Main usage would be for Online Shopping.

^ Nothing good is free mate. Go for a Citi Credit Card, there service is generally better and they have emi tie ups with most retailers. Also Citi dining priveliges are pretty nice.

I love Citi's service but since I am on top of all my payments and all I dont feel the need of customer service much.

I am using Citi HDFC and SC and that is order I recommend.

What are the requirements for Citi card? I really don't wan't to be paying for using a Credit/Debit card.

Btw though I know the difference between a Credit-Debit card but still want to debate, should I go in for a Debit or a Credit card? Main usage would be buying from Online Shopping Sites both in India & abroad.
