Credit Card Help Desk: Answers to Your Questions!

Is there any Credit card, that can work with UPI or qr code scan and gives 1% cashback?
Many merchants nowadays disable receiving payment via rupay cc linked upi as it cost them more in mdr charges unless their financial turnover (not profit) in a financial year is less than 20 lakh.

Which is a good card in the Axis bank portfolio? I would prefer one that gives good returns as cashback or air miles. Would transact around 50k each month using the card.

Atlas 4% airmiles
That is what I have been considering. Are there any other good cards that will help with domestic flight tickets through reward points? Anything other than Axis?
My first priority is Axis since I already have an account with them. But I will check out other bank cards too before finalizing on Axis Atlas.

Other options that I know of are Amex Platinum Travel, HDFC DCB, Yes Marquee.

Axis bank Airtel co-branded card. If you are using any Airtel service it gives 25% CB and apart from that 10% cashback on utility payments, Zomato, Swiggy upto certain limit and 1% cashback on other payments.

Any HDFC Marriot Bonvoy card holders on Diners platform?

I want to know if it offers better value on points on Marriot points compared to Amex Plat Travel. Does MB card have spend milestones to accelerate your points accumulation. On plat travel am able to score couple of stays at Marriot and Taj properties.

Right, people do not read the details and jump seeing the figure of 25%

Here is the detailed capping:

But still with all this capping, it gives good cashback . I am using this card only for Airtel bill payment, Electricity bill, gas bill and Zomato Swiggy so utilising full benefits. Also it provides 1% CB on other spends.

Not a question but on my recent travel to Vietnam, I found that shopee app didn't accept scapia credit card and nor did it accept Fi debit card (I have niyo but didn't try as my KYC was rejected).

It was like trial and error for me while adding credit cards into shopee app. Idfc credit card too didn't work.

The only card, among the ones i have and worked are HDFC Regalia Credit card and hdfc platinum debit card. Ofcourse this meant all my shopee spends attracted forex markup but i didn't have an option anyways.

Paying COD on shopee was an option but i could not do as my deliveries happened when I was out of hotel.

It might be that due to zero forex feature those cards have disabled its use online while doing txn physically abroad. What did you purchase btw (like electronics, clothes etc) that it was worth all the hassle/forex there?

This is good to know. I was planning to get a forex card.

I used Regalia gold for online spends while abroad. It attracts 2% vs 4% on other cards. A lot of regalia card holders are getting upgraded to regalia gold. You might want to explore that option.

I got option of upgrading to regalia gold. Problem is ₹2500 annual fees. I don't want to pay that so I don't think I will upgrade.

Fake legos. Check my post in the lego thread. And yes one 20000mAh power bank which I bought on first day after landing as i realized my existing slow power bank won't cut it. So got one with fast charging / PD for like 550 rupees on shopee. Also to test waters with shopee purchase.
Also not sure what hassle you are talking about? Is it about price or whether it was worth getting the stuff there versus India? If that was your question then yes, it was worth as I got like 20 fake lego sets.
Also I am sure it was a Shopee issue and not Scapia issue. Because I have previously used scapia on pandabuy, alibaba, noon (UAE) and such.
