This is so not cool my system is so reaching the end of its life :'( , time to upgrade , no money :'(

Just praying that my 8800gt and c2d last's with bf3

It is not that the game would refuse to play on your system at all. You will have to tone down the settings a bit to get the frames high. Although this would take an IQ hit, the game would definitely be playable on your system. I recall several friends of mine had 8500 mobile variants in their laptops and Crysis worked just fine. Although it looked sucky. :P
 
On an oced C2D E8xxx + 2-3gb RAM + 8800GT you should be fine with around 40 FPS if not more at Low-Lowest settings at 1440x900.

it will play fine, but like Gannu said you have to tone down the settings to medium. No need to upgrade for just one game. You can always play the game again when you upgrade.

I had 9500 GT a while ago and Crysis looked and played really fine on my PC.
 
@panvirgo89 -The developers will surely take care of it.And the game will be well optimised for every class of GPU's.You may have to tone down the settings but you will be able to play it for sure.
 
^Exactly. Guys seriously, stop worrying for this game. Let the PC demo come out and you can judge how well it'd play on your systems. :D
 
Yep. Seems to be all over the place now. Screenshots are already coming in. Wish someone would comment on the performance.
 
Will get the full game within the next few hours. Size is 6.98GB for the SP only version . Getting awesome speeds of 570kBps :D
 
^ this is huge.......... Looks like the whole game is out.......hope that this doesnt become one more reason for companies to boycot pc gaming.......
 
I'll be done with downloading Beta by this evening or so. Hopefully. Will try to update something. But there will be a scheduled powercut for 4 hours every second staurday from 9AM. So.. :(
 
Developer's build leaked a full 49 days ahead of schedule! One of the most anticipated games of the year and this is definitely a good start.
 
Well, people complained for a demo, so here it is. It would be good for some basic benchmarking purpose, however, since it's the BETA build, I doubt it would represent the final builds performance. Also people who already have it, say the build is a very recent one, January 2011, to be precise. It doesn't go into very high settings, despite being forced from the developer console mode. So you're stuck with High settings on DX9 mode.

I am very disappointed... this leak shouldn't have happened. If it was for the 360 then i wouldn't have cared, but for the PC, makes me sad.
