Ready to take off on the helicopter.

Have completed the core missions for Detroit. Was able to sneak past the red-stun detectors. One needs to crouch and "walk" in tandem with forward, and not touch the red radii which is emitted. :)
Picked up 3x side mission - Under Cover Hitman.

Yes, have been trying very very hard at the stealth approach. It's taking much more time to get through certain sections of a map. Have avoided kills at all costs except for the one BOSS fight I have encountered thus far. I think I have killed only 2 guards till now. :)

Had a bloody long session yesterday overnight until 3, completed Jenny's side mission (pretty lengthy it was!), Heng Sha and most of the side missions as far as I could. With the social enhancer aug. upgrade, things went pretty smoothly confronting most folks and extracting whatever little piece of information went simple. Dang this game is ENGROSSING! :@

As for Jaya:

I ended up paying 5000 credits to Bobby and let him leave Jaya alone. What is the other alternative? Initially I knocked down Jaya and collected her implant but felt bad for the move and reloaded the save point to do it the vigilante way. :ashamed:

Malik's side mission was the best of the lot. It had that L.A. Noire touch to it. The investigation and the questioning went butter smooth with the C.A.S.I.E. kicking in.

Unfortunately, towards the end of the main mission I realised I did not have the ability to disable robots.

Ran into 2 of those in the hangar. Luckily, I had disabled a couple of them proximity mines and threw them on their pathway. One of them blew itself and terminated itself. For the other one, I threw an EMP grenade. I couldn't be any happier, the moment I came to know of Megan from Zhao. :D

Here's my present status as I begin the missions at Montreal:

Been doing that until now. Unless the objective is to take down the guys, I try avoiding them or at the most knock them down.

Not really. Just testing out some stuff. My augs, credits and Praxis points are totally different the 360. Not sure if there is any trainer which would allow me to modify it either.

Paying 5000 credits to bartender gets you a Praxis Kit, does it not? It's not a bad deal.

As for me, to those who are done with the game.

Is it advisable to pick the Social Enhancer Aug early in life...? Though am still in Detroit finishing of the last SM.

Yes, very much. Helps you in Heng Sha. I can recall at least 4 missions wherein the CASIE came to my rescue. Once you get the hang of it, it works bit perfect precisely as described in the HINT displated during the momentary loading screen.

If possible, do get the Icarus Landing System (Back Aug.) and the Jump Enhancement (Leg Aug.) as well. They help you a lot once you are in Heng Sha. :)

I took the chip and gave it to the Bartender who refused to pay up. Hence, praxis kit for 5000/- is the way to go.

But not sure if the Bartender achievement gets unlocked.

Ah lol I pretty much thought so! :P

That the bugger wouldn't pay us any reward if we were to return the chip. I was a bit hesitant when he demanded 5000 credits but I had plenty of it so chose to give it.

Hacking has become a walk in the park with most of the Cranium Augs. done. Haven't got detected for almost 90% of the cases and ends up looting the datastores.

Likewise, but then I redid it my way to see what happens, then just left it that way.
 
After 40 Hours, finally finished the game.

After Witcher 2 this is the 2nd game which has a darker, grittier undertone to it. Deus EX feels extremely old school to me, graphics aren't much to talk about, but the story is stellar. Thoroughly enjoyed the end, money well spent, waiting for DLCs.

PS: Game has a bit of Robocop, Matrix, Minority Report and Da Vinci Code in it.
 
just completed the campaign. Going to replay as want to find out all the possible approaches to the missions. Excellent game. Best game of the year so far.
 
Done with Montreal and back at Detroit. :D

A very short chapter. Eliza Cassan came across as a total shocker!

Revealed to be an AI hologram! The boss battle with Yelena was slightly tricky but good nonetheless. Used some EMP grenades/mines and the shotgun took care of the rest.

Allwyn where are the save files stored? I think I may have it. Forgot about this and progressed to Detroit a bit, but haven't begun any missions as such.
