Reached Hengsha, completed 2 side quests quickly and called it a day.

Is it even possible to take down all the soldiers in a full-stealthy way quickly when saving Malik's chopper goes down and you need to save her (at the start of the level where you need to find Vasili Sevchenko's GPL device)? I had to resort to sniping and killing guys hiding behind walls as it's much quicker. I attempted stealth take-down's sneaking around but it took considerably longer and by that time Malik's chopper was toast.

Full stealthy way? I doubt so! That's the first thing I did as soon as I got out of the choppah! :P

And the chopper blew up! There's not much time left to do it that way. At the most, one maybe able to take down some of them with the sniper rifle but definitely not the robot and the armored guy with the heavy rifle.

I got it right the second time however. Went rampage with the shotgun, quickly climbed the platform to the right and threw an EMP mine the the ground above where the robot spawns. The moment I dropped the mine, it blew up taking the robot along with it. What remained were 2 snipers and the armored guy with the heavy rifle. Climbed the platforms and took those guys out. Went behind the armored guy and 3 shots from the shotgun - he was MEAT! Malik bid bye to Jensen and flew off. :D

The shotgun had some of the best mods - ammo capacity increased to 16 from the default 8 and the burst-fire mod so it fires 2 shells at a time.

@ Gannu:

Hehe! I know what you mean, the shotgun is one powerful weapon of choice :ohyeah:

On that section I had to chuck stealth knockout's out of the window as well. I used a combo of the sniper rifle and EMP grenades for the bot. On the second or third attempt I could finally save Malik :)

@Altair:

Man... finish up most of your work before the game arrives... once you jump into the game you'll find out how addictive it is!! :cool2:

Hopeful of completing the game tonight. This is going to be one helluva ride. :ohyeah:

Allwyn, extremely sorry dude. The autosave and the previous autosave had already gone past that point of boss fight. :(

Detroit - Heng Sha - Montreal - Detroit - Heng Sha - ?
Wait till you discover where you are finally and where you'll be next! I found the level in Montreal to be pretty darn hard when you stealth it out.

For all you fans.

Deus EX: Human Revolution DLC Coming in October

Eidos has finally revealed that the cryptic clues it has been giving out to Deus Ex players in the last few days point to an upcoming DLC release, titled The Missing Link. The downloadable content will be available in October, and will feature new environments, characters and storyline.

As Siliconera explains, Deus Ex players have spent the last couple of days feverously attempting to decode clues sent out by Eidos via the game. Eventually, someone accidentally found the answer by looking at the RSS feed of the official Deus Ex website. Oops... Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

A new post on the Deus Ex website now officially reveals the upcoming DLC, The Missing Link:

"The Deus Ex: Human Revolution conspiracy grows deeper in The Missing Link. During Adam's quest for the truth in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, he mysteriously vanishes for three days. Where was he? What did he find out? The Missing Link reveals it all.

After being tortured by Belltower agents and having his augmentations disabled, Adam Jensen must rely solely on his basic capabilities to escape from a freighter, destined for an unknown location. While fighting for his survival on the ship, he uncovers another layer to the conspiracy that he never would have suspected. As Adam, befriend new, mysterious allies and fight ruthless enemies to discover what was happening in the shadows during the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution!"

Done. Completed the game just a few minutes back and the ending I chose and the video that played post it, gave me a proud feeling and turned out to be very thought provoking. Best game of this year, till this point. :)

I chose Darrow's ending.

Completed the game yet? :)

Hell yes I did it yesterday night, some of us saw a movie after that and it was close to 3 in the morn so couldn't bother posting here and crashed. Just woke up! :P

The concluding sequence was a hell of a ride! The security seemed to have been beefed up in Singapore but it was certainly doable alright.

But Panchaea got me mind-f*cked. Luckily I decided to preserve the plasma rifle from Namir. Otherwise confronting those insane humans would have been nearly impossible. And as I reached towards the conclusion of that chapter, figured out that there are 2 secondary objectives - Sarif and Taggart is locked up and Adam needs to meet them! Had to trace my way back into the facility and find out their respective locations. Thank goodness I did, I suppose the 2 options from Sarif and Taggart might otherwise have been locked out.

As for the game's conclusion, I chose to go with:

Sarif's suggestion. Let the augmentations not stop. But yes, I decided to watch the other sequences including the destruction of the facility as well and all of them turned out to be done exceedingly well. Especially the film noir sequences and Adam's voice in the backgrounds explaining the consequences of each decision.

I have got to ask, did anyone bother waiting until the closing credits sequence rolled out completely? If not please do. Go back to your last save point or alternately 'Continue Game', let Adam choose any option and wait for the creidts sequence to complete. THAT is probably the best sequence in the entire game!

They f*cking revealed Bob Page, the primary antagonist of the first Deus Ex! And Megan working for them on the Morpheus Project? Now that came as a total shocker to me. Literally shat my pants! :O

It was one hell of a ride. Other than few petty complaints I've got, this game has shone really well in all the departments - voice acting, visuals, the flexibility of gameplay using a mix of stealth and FPS elements, the immersive storyline, the OSTs, attention to details, Eidos Montreal seemed to have got everything right! Loved the game from the start until the finish and it has been a thought provoking game as well. The decisions that we take today, influences the evolution of mankind in the near future.

Yep I chose Darrow's ending too then watched the rest of the endings.

For me it would have been in this order -

1. Darrow's

2. Taggart's - Putting a leash on Augmentations.

3. Self Destruct

4. Sarif's - Humans playing God

@ Gannu:

I know what you mean by saying that Panchaea got you "mind-f*cked"! :P

The part where you need to meet up with Taggart on the last level, I ended up being a tad confused with all the path finding until I discovered that you needed to crawl below or jump over those those steel beams to reach Taggart's room. Not to mention the super annoying crazies that you have to deal with at random in that section. I resorted to a combo of cloak and the trusted Laser Rifle to get the job done with the crazies! I guess the shotgun would be a good weapon pf choice against downing the crazies but I didn't have a shotgun in my inventory to try it out.

Btw, wanted to know, does killing the crazies count as kills in the game? I mean there's too many of them to go for pure stealth in that section.

@ Altair:

Aaah, awesome... enjoy the game mate :ohyeah:
