Revealed to be an AI hologram! The boss battle with Yelena was slightly tricky but good nonetheless. Used some EMP grenades/mines and the shotgun took care of the rest.

You won't believe it, but all I used was my 10mm handgun. Emptied all it's bullets and nailed her (no pun intended). Thankfully, I got the 'EMP Shielding' aug and that proved to be quite useful against all the electricity that Yelena threw at me. When back in Detroit, I can just walk right over that electrified area without any fear. :P

Allwyn where are the save files stored? I think I may have it. Forgot about this and progressed to Detroit a bit, but haven't begun any missions as such.

No worries. It should be in My Documents folder.

^Aight I'll check today evening before resuming the gameplay and send it across. Not sure if it would be there but I'll try. :P

Damn last night I hardly slept... was glued to the game!! Just got into Singapore, things are heating up now. :)

But I have a question:

Is it even possible to take down all the soldiers in a full-stealthy way quickly when saving Malik's chopper goes down and you need to save her (at the start of the level where you need to find Vasili Sevchenko's GPL device)? I had to resort to sniping and killing guys hiding behind walls as it's much quicker. I attempted stealth take-down's sneaking around but it took considerably longer and by that time Malik's chopper was toast.

ok get this

after defeating barret i travelled to china for my next mission there i saw this night club called the hive,to get inside the club i have to pay the bouncer 1000 credits,so bieng the miser i declined and started moving towards my next objective in hengsha court. while walking on the street i overheard two npc's talking about a way to get inside the hive without paying any money and this secret entrance is somwhere behind the back alley of the night club so i though i should check it out so i went throught the back alley and guess what i saw? a flippin vent which leads directly to one of the toilets inside the hive.

I LOVE THIS GAME the writing is BRILLIANT the voice acting is Realllly goood this is the first time iam playing a deus ex game havent played the prequels

Yes it is very much possible to take them all out. I just did that mission. In my first attempt, I didn't know her chopper would blow off and I took my time taking out those punks, only watch her chopper go off in flames. Then I re-loaded and cleared off everyone in the next attempt and unlocked 'Good Soul' achievement. :P

The other alternative:

if you bothered checking all the rooms inside the Hung Hua Hotel, a keycard for the Hive lying on a table inside one of the rooms. If you approach the bouncer, he'd gladly let you inside.

I haven't played Invisible War but the first one pretty much was like Human Revolution. Stealth played a major role, it had all the aug. upgrades, kick ass OSTs and a good storyline to boot.

PS: Please use spoilers!

What was your weapon of choice to complete this? I tried to go Ninja on them and got my ass beat a couple of times, playing on normal difficulty.

Maybe I'll give it another go :)

I'm just waiting for a few more guys to complete this game. Would love to hear the views on the ending, which is very "difficult" and
"thought provoking"
.

Here are my top games (completed) for 2011

DX:HR - 9.5/10 - Loved the monochromatic levels, storyline is excellent, shooting is not as clunky or 80's laser sounding like other sci-fi RPGs. (i.e. if you are shooting at all)
Witcher 2 - 9.2/10 (Dark fantasy land, with impressive graphic detail. Boss fights were badass. Even the armor on enemy soldiers is extremely detailed. Riposte FTW! Choice making will really tear you apart and all the mature content was fun. Just want Witcher 3 to Grimmer, Darker and more evil)
Dead Space 2 - (9.1/10) If it qualifies as a 2011 game, terribly entertaining, has Shock value. Bought an Xbox Controller and loved how force feedback surprised me :) :)
Limbo - 9/10 (Soulful. And at 10USD on Steam - bang for buck. Replayability value is Zero ofcourse)
Crysis 2 - 8.9/10 (campaign is good not great, I did not pay attention to the story. I like it's multiplayer though. Rating may be revised after playing Killzone 3)
Dirt 3 (almost done) - 8.9/10 (Gorgeous game, loved Gymkhana, loved Dirt 2, too)

Portal 2 - Installed and played 20 minutes, but then started off with DXHR, will get back on this.
Bastion - Got the demo yesterday, looks very interesting.

I was thinking of buying this game...but the system requirement(recommended) says,GPU:5850..:O Phenom II X6 i have but HD5850? :( I have a 5770,Will it work?

^LOL it will. The game has been nicely optimised. Even the most crappy system out there can play the game. :P

If you go the Ninja way, say bye to Malik in advance. First off, you don't have a lot of time. Next, you have an overwhelming battalion of soldiers and a mech to take down. You're first objective is to take down those people who have heavy artillery. Almost everyone would be directing their fire towards Malik, so you'll have to take some heat off her. What I did was stack up my battery cells to max and performed head-on take-downs on those Heavy Gunners. This is a suicidal move, but if performed tactfully, you should be able to take down 3 of them, before you take cover. Make sure your armour aug is maxed out. Next up is the Mech, I took it down by directly throwing a EMP mine. Then your targets should be those dreaded Snipers on the rooftops. Pick a long range weapon like a sniper, machine pistol or combat rifle. For the ones taking cover in the building, just shoot those explosive barrels to take someone out, who are close to it. The trick is to reduce the amount of heavy firing on the chopper, right at the start.

Lol man..seriously i was shocked...!! BTW hows the gameplay, storyline etc? Worth Rs.889?

Man, this game does take time.

Just compromised "T", it was difficult not killing him. Bugger kept firing back. Had to sneak up and silence him while keeping him alive. Else the side mission would expire. On the last leg of the final SM left in Detroit for me. Entered the sewers of Derelict Row to find the weapons stash. By the way, someone mentioned not the give the cross bow or something like that back to the undercover-hooker-cop..? Or is that a moral choice...?

Then off I fly to Hang..finally. Darn.

After another long session...completed the game just a few minutes back!! Wohooo... what an experience this game is, absolutely brilliant. Engrossing gameplay, a riveting story and very well etched side quests. Loved it all the way. :D
