I hope the email associated with the B.net account on which you registered D3 isn't the same as the one you gave to that Russian site. That's the only way you are vulnerable to brute force password attacks and having all your gear/gold stolen as your email address is also your username and that's half the data required for a brute force attack.
RMAH access is determined by your Home Region and your Home Region is determined when you launch the game for the very first time. It doesn't matter whether you have the US or EU version; as long as you are physically in India when you start D3 for the first time, your Home Region will be set to Americas (India falls under that).
Don't worry about the DRM, it's totally transparent as long as you have a stable Internet connection.
Blizzard side issues are limited to scheduled server maintenance. First week launch issues are ancient history now as with every big Blizzard launch (though that never stopped everyone on the Internet from crying out at once and will most certainly happen again when the expansion pack is released ).
