Last Day Of the Dinosaurs

Watch this and you ll understand from where does Santa Monica got its inspiration for the GOW series game.

On a serious note, feel kinda sorry for the dinos.. every element of nature went against them in a series of devastating blows to wipe them off.

Hidden secrets of Japan

Wonderfully done. Just brilliant work to depict the diverse flora and fauna. Catch this in 720p and sit back with stunning visuals ranging from mountain to oceans to waterfalls to lush green forests. Mesmerising.

Corwins quest realms of yeti

They seem to mention everything apart from the yeti on their quest. Brilliant shots of the landscape though.

Forbidden Tomb Of Genghis Khan

Belch..

The narrator/protagonist should understand that there is no point in acting like a rock star no matter how much you believe you have achieved. Seemed like a bloatware in one session.

Any good physics documentaries anybody know of which actually explains the logic rather then just state certain facts about it?

Possible Subjects: Interpretations of Quantum Mechanics, Relativity theories, Gravity.

There are some by NOVA you should watch, just search for em on the *ahem sites.

Also search for some by BBC Horizon. There are a lot on those subjects.

Possible Subjects: Interpretations of Quantum Mechanics, Relativity theories, Gravity.

Man on Wire : Documentary about the guy who walked on wire between WTC towers. WITHOUT ANY SUPPORT OR NET. Entire documentary is shown like heist film. How he planned it, got inside and fastened a wire between the two towers.

Sharkwater : Haven't watched it yet. But it details the illegal hunting of sharks and how the maker was 'dealt with' by corrupt officials and how he escaped.

TTC - Understanding the Universe - An Introduction to Astronomy - 2nd Edition by Alex Filippenko

Dark Energy and the Runaway Universe - Alex Filippenko

They deliberately make them ambiguous. Matters like black holes, parallel universes are still unresolved and highly debated. These documentaries just explain different views regarding these matters as concrete proof is yet to be found.

I am eagerly waiting for James Cameron's documentary about his dive in Mariana trench. He is first human to go down that deep.

^Seen half of it. They just keep repeating the same stuff, keep things ambiguous. Would have a look at a few I haven't watched from that list. Thanks.

I too feel like that in most of the documentaries. but I guess it's purposefully limited for mass consumption.

we have to turn to books and lecture vids for more. I find audio books more suitable, we can repeat easily, understand and visualise the subject matter.
