Documentaries worth Watching ?

Surprisingly no one here has seen Carl Sagan's Cosmos which is my personal favorite.

Its really old but this guy inspired most people to become astronomers and bought the entire cosmos for the first time on tv. The series starts off slow but after episode 3 its a great ride into the cosmos.

Must watch for some trippy explanations, this was the first to spike my interest in documentaries.

Diary of a Porn Virgin
ALONE – The Brain_ Sensory Deprivation and Isolation
The Big Question- Why Am I Me
The True Story of Che Guevara

1 & 2 You Should Watch.

Exodus Decoded

A very good documentary abt the Exodus of Jews from Ancient Egypt. The explanation tho debatable given for the ten plagues is really interesting and logical.

BTW its a James Cameroon produced.

Thanks guys for the documentary names, but some info or a link would be useful :D I tried to google but it's a lot of work :p (like shady2pac just did)

638 Ways to Kill Castro - Must watch documentary abt 638 assassination attempts on Fidel Castro....download it fast because the torrent is almost dead.

Documentary tells the story of some of the numerous attempts to kill Cuba's leader Fidel Castro. The film reveals multiple methods of assassination, from exploding cigars to femmes fatales; a radio station rigged with noxious gas to a poison syringe posing as an innocuous ballpoint pen. Fabian Escalante, the former head of Cuban Intelligence, the man who has had the job of protecting Castro for many of the 49 years he’s been in power, alleges that there were over 600 plots and conspiracies known to Cuban agents, all dreamt up to end the life of the “red menaceâ€. Some were perpetrated by the CIA, especially during the first half of the 1960s. From the seventies onwards, the attempts were most often made by Cuban exiles who had been trained by the CIA shortly after Castro took power in 1959.

If you are interested in Science then 'Through the Wormhole' is a good documentary TV show.

Anybody here know of a good documentary on Drugs? It should be neutral and unbiased, I dont want to see a deliberate attempt at anti-drug propaganda.

Or something on Human mind and psychology?

If anyone is into historical controversies and secrets, then 'Secrets of the dead' is a great series!
