i downloaded them but when running it says platform not supported , do i need all updates and sp1 in vista ? never updated it coz it disables activation .
 
Ideally yes cos the user who'd reported the work-around for enabling CF seems to have suggested installing the updates I'd mentioned. What activation're u talking abt? I hope SP1 is installed. :P
 
vista activation :P i used oem bios emulation trick to activate it , installing all updates and sp1 disables it :(

the latest WGA update which I happened to download on the 26th gave me a message saying there is an license exploit... it hasnt disabled my OS or put any restrictions for the OS but it keeps coming up everytime I start my system...

MS will not put any restrictionson the OS but the msg will keep on coming .
they have stopped putting pc in reduced functionality mode when license exploit is found with this one

choose wisely the updates u wanna install n the once u dnt wanna install :)

always go through the available updates b4 installing :)
