Just an fyi, check out hindi version of Pirates of the Carribean movies. My word these are awesome, unlike anything else.

Indeed. Was another very good dubbing. :)
 
Another great hindi dubbing was that of Malgudi Days. Such an awesome series that was. Its available easily though. The episodes with swami were the best!!

Don't they air Duck tails or Tales Pin on DD or some other channel? If they do, maybe someone can make a TV rip.

You think you can reach someone there and check if they sneak a print to us?

Dont worry about the format. EVen if it is raw video and audio, I think I can manage getting it in to mpeg4 HQ.
 
and while we are at it .. lets try to tap the sources at the channels which had been airing those shows as well.

This was 1995-1996 times. Don't even remember the dates. Bet u did not even hear of CD players back then. We were kids who played solitaire on the Studio PC's back then. :ohyeah:

And we would get the episodes on VCR Tape. Most of the tapes have been thrown away (those who I asked already) and those who had them, either dont have a VCR now or the tapes have gone bad.
 
I have even emailed two people at Disney India as an FYI. One was out of office so got a reply with the phone number of the other person. :P

I have found out on the internet that the show last used to air on The Disney Channel India.

So i have emailed them as well about this.

Unless we get hold of someone working at Disney channel India, lets hope that someone replies to atleast one of the contact attempts.
 
how can you bear cartoons in hindi??!! yuck!!

IMO it just ruins the whole cartoon. i always hated watching cartoons in hindi as compared to the english counterparts.

i have quite a few english episodes of duck tales. :D

I watched ducktales when I was probably six. That made you too small to comprehend anything, So I forgive you.

Hmm, you might haven't listened the Hindi version yet.. Duck Tales and Talespin were one of the best Hindi dubs.. Everyone really loved it..
 
i have heard those in hindi. i agree they were better than other dubs. but i still prefer the english. :)

and yeah i watched duck tales in english when i was small. i got to see it in hindi when i was in my teens. :P

+1 to that.

Not all cartoons are bad in Hindi. There were some cartoons like Duck Tales, Tales pin and others whose Hindi dubbing was pretty damn good. I watched Duck Tales in Hindi on TV when I was a kid, now I have also downloaded the English version.
