If u order in bulk (in one consignment), don't expect the customs people to consider the items as gifts(even if they are marked like that).

So, the item cost is going to be ~ US$ 50 I guess & that too without Customs. :(

I've the aramex shop and ship account. They charge like 12 USD for items till 1KG from US to India. But see this: 20 USD + local US shipping + 12 USD from US to India + Customs (probable) + local shipping.

Too much of hassle guys. The problem is with the size. They are little too big for such movements.
 
easier option would be to contact chinese and ask them to clone it...and then find it at 49-99 stores locally :P

that is, if they haven't done it already :ashamed: :P
 
^^ They must be sourcing from China, who knows...:P Maybe we can even check those 99 rupee china bazaar saundar sasta tikau type gift stores in major cities they might even have it.

Rest I am interested in this, if the bulk purchase price is good. Have aramex account as well, can help in getting it here at decent shipping 10$/kg if I am not wrong.

Don't expect anything less than 45-50 USD for a piece. I am talking Item price + Shipping + Customs.

INternational shipping really kills the deal.But it still can be done individually.Thats what the consolation is.I think we can still order it ourselves, individually 'course, through aramax.We have to live with ~2.5k INR price.

well.. may be. but I look at it this way.It's sopmething which is not easily available in India.It would be a great showoff at my crib.Especially the jellyfish atleast.Till I get neon lights shaped like a girl done, for my pad :P
 
Sorry guys for bringing up this old thread to life. But this company contacted me again. They have lowered the minimum quantity to 24. So 24 pieces shipped would cost £323 (24 x £8.55 = £205.20 + shipping £118)

As per my calculation it comes to around 900 approx rupees.

Anyone still interested?
 
^ That's a pretty good price but I doubt customs will clear such a bulk order easily . So do keep some customs duties in mind . Still not a bad deal. I am interested .:)
