Encounter with Noobs !!!!

Today, I was told authoritatively by the AirTel Tech Support guy that Sony has started making Symbian handsets.

Technically, should that guy who sits in Tech Support qualify as a noob?
 
Airtel guy was sarcastically asking me that what do i do if i dont have a dth connection for my LCD. (I hadnt renewed my airtel connection since Jan, he asked if i was using any other company's dth.)
I just replied about ps3 and he disconnected the phone. Technically i shd have his name noted and i shd blast him the next time he calls me.

They ARE noobs.

They did make Symbian phones but 2 years ago. Maybe his information just has a 2 year time lag.

@Altair the more I go on that site, the more I feel the stock trading-walaa business needs to be reigned in, the messages on the site are like morse code + SMS shorthand's unholy love child.

This happened at work
Colleague A browsing for phones and looking at the Note
Colleague B : I feel the Note's resolution is lesser taking it's screen size into consideration.
Colleague A (calm and confident) : Yea, Samsung is fixing this in the next update (firmware).

That spray painted nameless guy saying he lost 3k or something, i'm guessing he's just saying what he saw in his moneycontrol portfolio. everyday their newsletter sends mail saying your portfolio is up/down by x or y rupees depending on previous traded price for all the shares you listed in it. it means nothing if you didnt sell everything in your portfolio to get that profit or loss.
 
My friend back from onsite from Japan and he got some Japanese Yen to sell (convert to INR).
Since he got his account in Kotak Mahindra Bank, we went to a branch.
Told the 'suited' guy at the counter our concern -

my friend: I want to sell some JPY. Want to know the rates.
The guy at the counter: GBY?
frnd: No, its JPY.
guy: JBY.
frnd: Its JPY - Japanese Yen.
guy: Okay okay.
He talks to some other guy in the bank and in between confirms once again
guy: GBY right? :bomb:

damn, he works in a bank for gods sake. Daily conversion rates are hanged in front of his eyes (well that didn't had JPY, but GBP, USD, Euro). And he never heard of JPY. :crazy:
 
It all started a while ago right around the time when i posted my previous posts about the guy who wanted to SLI GTX690 with GTX560Ti. So all his comments made me mad and i wanted to confirm he was lying or telling the truth that he even had a GTX560Ti config cause he was always saying that i can't play on that cause my mom doesn't let me.? :S Blah Blah...so here's the finale.
