English TV series discussion

English TV Series are good. I have seen a few and most of them are gripping.

Started off with Entourage Se01 - 08 (ep.05)

Spartacus (too much nudity and violence but is gripping)

Camelot (interesting, photography and locations are awesome)

True Blood - Just started watching it seems OK

Most of the time I love watching good documentaries from Natgeo, History, Discovery, BBC etc

Presently downloading Lost complete series and Game of thrones.
 
@Breaking Bad : Walt's character has taken a complete 180 degree turn in order to become totally unsympathetic in viewer's eyes. Whats with "I am the danger" speech? lol! I guess we know where this show is heading, with only one more season to go, there is but only one way to end this beautiful series. Hopefully, by the end of it, walt would have found redemption.

I have completed watching "True Blood" Season 1. however I found the plot un-gripping and the story always drifting away from the main subject.

It is not as good and as interesting as other series.
 
I have watched lotsa series in last few years. last year I was on "bench" for some really long time ~ 7 months and that was the time I have completed many series - most of them in back-to-back marathons.
My list

  1. Prison Break - my first series. loved till S2.
  2. Heroes - boring. but somehow finished.
  3. Lost - Since I have started, I had to finish. Loved initially, got crappy later.
  4. Firefly - wow !! watched the whole season thrice till now.
  5. How I met Your Mother - Nice till S4. Okayish now
  6. True Blood - Watched till S2. Couldn't bear Sookie more than that. ;)
  7. Castle - up to date + waiting. Love both of 'em.
  8. Dexter - up to date + waiting
  9. House MD - up to date + waiting
  10. The 4400 - those were the time I had this on my HDD and no internet for 1 week.
  11. Death Note - I am not fan of anime, but loved this one.
  12. Avatar - The Last Airbender - Shyamalan made a sh*t out of this. This was superb.
  13. Two And Half Men - up to date + waiting
  14. Big Bang Theory - up to date + waiting
  15. Sherlock - up to date + waiting
  16. Spartacus - up to date + waiting
  17. 24 - watched till S7. S8 on dwnld queue. Can't handle too much of 'Bauer' at once.
  18. Numbers - somehow completed S1. Couldn't proceed more.

Now on queue? I dunno, following the on goings. May be 'Rome'
Any recommendations from anyone?

Also, watch 'The Pacific' and 'Band of Brothers' if you haven't yet. Both are HBO miniseries based on World War 2 events.
