Legend of the seeker is great ! Are you joking ! Its awful with awful acting, and awful plot and awful screenplay, not to mention awful stereotyped characters ... the list goes on. The only good thing about it is Kaelyn. A much better show was Merlin, but unfortunately it was only 13 episodes - left the story hanging as well.

I enjoyed it for first 10 eps..

Though I am yet to watch remaining as in case of non premier shows I only like to watch 2-3 eps at one go.. But I have heard its ratings are plummeting.

Even Merlin was good. Though I would rate both LoS and Merlin at same rank.

Everything might not be over for Terminator - Sarah Connor Chronicles..

Fox absolutely loves Terminator... but Fox also absolutely hates poor ratings. However, Terminator has one great thing going for it--McG's Terminator: Salvation opens in theaters in May. If it's a hit, it could restrengthen the brand and give this promising show new life.

Prognosis: It sounds silly to say a TV show's fate relies on a movie's performance, but let's face it--the television industry is as wacky as they come.

for science fiction try star trek.
The Next Generation (seasons=7 episodes=178)
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (seasons=7 episodes=176)
Star Trek: Voyager (seasons=7 episodes=172)
Star Trek: Enterprise (seasons=4 episodes=98)
Total episodes= 624

(also there are 11 movies under same title)

Guys did u chek out 5x23 of the Office...Steve Carell at the negotiating table, it was unbelievably hilarious, check it out if you havent already, man he is a genius!

I finally plunged into Battlestar Galactica, and it's every bit (and more) of what it's touted to be

Do not be turned away by the corny name, it's an epic in its own right

No im sure you're joking, :P
The plot is awesome, the acting is awesome, screen play is awesome, and the characters are the best thing in this series..Stereotyped? As in how?
One adventure per ep?
Come on its more fulfilling to see one short story end in each ep rather that watch it drag over multiple eps, Its a and awesome series if you like the mythological fiction, the main characters are awesome, Zed, Kayhlan, Richard, all rock..It has just the right amount of comedy too..

^^ Legend of the seeker, is a badly made serial with some of the worst actors I have ever seen in english media :P

It could have been better, but I suppose the actors ruin the whole thing, and kaleyn is the most corniest "in your face bosom" actress :P

Merlin on the other hand is much better, story lines I would rate LoS and Merlin the same, but Merlin has a muccch better cast of actors...

Dunno, seems awesome to me, i never really critically analyse a serial, just watch them for timepass..and this is awesome time pass with a bit of everything ..nothing to complain abt from my side..:D

Hehe, watching 14 seasons of star trek, 4 seasons of BSG in the span of 7-8 months. Does make you aware of some things, but yeah LoS is timepass, but when you are time starved you tend to dismiss them :P.

I dunno, but for me bad acting is the end of it. I didnt like terminator essentially for that reason too. And essentially the reason, I am loving chuck even though the story is a lil childish..

to whoever is suggesting that Merlin has stopped, only the first season is done.

it has another season in the pipeline.

also LoTS = crap in comparison to Merlin

Agree that LotS doesn't have anything new to offer. The story's are too cliched IMO. But i still enjoy it, nice timepass. Who doesn't like the locales and adventures!

Will take a look at merlin some day.

Yep one major reason for me sticking with LoS is the scenery... Merlin was majorly shot on sets for S1..

I guess LoS is being shot in NZ. Read somewhere..

I've seen al of merlin too, and liked it, but both were the same for me, enjoyed both of them equally..

I have to confess, I've only watched LotS's pilot. The production qualities weren't really impressive.
