English TV series discussion

Yes, the 3rd season starts off great. They always have different themes of evil for every season. This season it is witches :p

I liked the 2nd season better than 1st. Great show.
Am very pissed that they killed off emma roberts. She brought youth and rebellion in an otherwise mostly aged cast.

@Gannu Just Started Season 3, Couldn't understand How all that shit happened which was being showed in the Recap. I'm Sure what all earlier 26 episodes i saw didn't had this stuff..
Genna killing that women and that ATF agent killing that Irish guy?

2nd season was good, but
after the great revelation as to who the Doctor really is , the series kind of waned for me. Became more of an exercise in emotional drama than horror

Completed Sons of Anarchy's first season last night. I'm not blown away in any way, but I think the next few seasons might change my opinion. The storyline isn't something which I found interesting, but the performances from the cast; it's solid. Jax's character is highly interesting, as he is morally conflicted with the how the club operates and reflects on his father's drafts about how he wanted to change all that, but never could. I would like to see more on this in the upcoming episodes.

Caught up with SoA, PoI and TWD's recent episodes. Yet to watch Homeland's last week's episode.

Haven't started AHS Season 3 yet. Shall wait for the whole season to conclude and give it a shot in one go. As long as Jessica Lange is in the show, it is worth a watch. :p

Looks like you missed an episode then or missed this sequence. Please watch the last episode of Season 2, no. 13 titled 'Na Trioblóidí'.

In the finale of S2:

Gemma follows Polly to her house and kills her with her handgun when she attempts to shoot her. The ATF agent Stahl is also present at that location who had shot Edmond at his back when he decides to escape.

Watched Mentalist S06E05, this is a real let down series. They are just coming up with weaker stories and weaker motivations. The Red John thing gets resolved in next 3 episodes - S0608 is called 'Red John' after which they will remove their love for "Red" in episode titles. I guess thats why they started to spin off the Tyger, Tyger thing, just so that they can have something till this series end/or make another season called 'Tyger, Tyger' The final chapter.

Completed season 3 of Supernatural. I initially thought the Angels and Demons stuff would not be so enticing but i really like this series. Done with 3 episodes of Season 4 as well.

Does it get better? I just started with season 1 and half finished. Starting to feel repetitive now with all evil stuff ( though each time there is new evil :D)

This.

Each one of these shows just drags the story line with twists and turns and just thicken the plot so much in the initial few seasons and when its time to pack up, the way they end seems so hurried and forced..

This happened with Dexter too - Seasons with Lumen especially was pointless beyond anything I can imagine...

Now I'm struggling to recall a recent show which ended on a 'decent' note - not hurried/rushed/forced..

Oh btw @sharktale1212 this is the last season of The Mentalist.

I certainly hope this is the last season, will stop watching it completely once this season is done - closure or not. Already stopped watching Homeland, couldn't take more wailing from Claire Danes.

You should try The Blacklist, I like the way they are running the show incorporating the larger arc within the episode. So you have sight of the season ending and the episodic nature of the series instead of suddenly bombarding the arc in some 2-3 key episodes.
