English TV series discussion

it is just that too much time and resources were spent to collect the data , that letting them go , is not what comes easily.
just for example: friends done with broadcast in early 2000s. started collecting the 4 :3 version within 3 to 4 years when broadband was niche.
it was only a year or two early when i had the luxury of reliance 21mbps 3g offer had i collected all the seasons.
within a year or so the HD version came along and did the entire ordeal again , this time planning with my friends to manage that download.
every time i watch any one episode by accident, the ordeal seems worth the effort.

Anyone have any idea about the camera the detectives use for filming the interviews in True Detective? Looks like a mft.
I'd latched on to this since I started watching the show, and I finally found out what they use now. It's a Sony NEX-5 with 50mm prime lens (correct me if I'm wrong though).

Whatever you guys say, the freedom to watch anything i wish at an instant rather than even waiting for it to stream is the reason why i hoard.

Anyways, All my HDD's are back home, where i go to unwind. Where i have no internet connection for streaming or anything. and I do live in a city outskirts so lets see if things change.
and the cost of maintaining such a connection is worth it. or if i will get a good streaming service or the cost of it or whether those services will have what i need.

Done with all seasons of 'Peep Show'. Well, that was an interesting turn of events towards the end of season 8.

Never expected Jez to fall for Dobster. But then again, he is as gullible as a child.

I don't think there is much future in this show now. So it would be best to just end it. A good show nevertheless.

Completed the first season of Seinfeld. I had a few chuckles here and there, but it still isn't laugh a riot show as I expected. Mind you, till now, I don't find Jerry Seinfeld funny, but Jason Alexander's role as George to be the best. He is hilarious and quite expressive when it comes to comedy. Whereas, Seinfeld's dialogue deliveries are more laid back and flat. Heck, even Elaine does a better job. I hate those stand-up scenes in between.

Liking or not a TV series is highlight subjective. Also many a times we see a TV series hyped so much that for some reason we start expecting a lot even before we start watching and may then not like it.
One more thing is the genre one likes. I am not really someone who likes "Drama" category TV shows but like mystery and such.

Since I do not or rarely watch my tv shows on PC, I do not have any tracking on PC.
Instead I have phone app which I like very much and use that. I have 2 copies of the same app installed (thanks to jailbreak) and use one for tracking what am watching and other for tracking what is under procurement.

So , only 1 episode of True detective remaining. Wonder how they'' wrap up effectively. Episode 7 was a bit unsatisfying for me. But all in all, a remarkable show
