It will be like entire harward has a 8gpbs line but indiviual pcs are given a restriction like 10 mbps or something like that

my offcie has a 200mbps line but i cant cross 1.6 mbps from my workstation
 
Airtel can reply to this by shifting the 256kbps unlimited plan to 699 and introducing the 512kbps plan for the current 256kbps plan. That'll be their next upgrade, they'll perhaps do something like this for us next year for much more affordable price.

Can't see Airtel offering 2mbps for less than 2,000 and that too with a million restrictions. If people like me get a 2mbps plan for unlimited, I'll drive them to the ground within a day. :D
 
dude doesnt IIT mumbai also have a 1 gbps line??? i think so..

and i`m with yo avtar on driving the isp`s to the ground if i get plans like that ..
 
10 GB download of Exatt sucks now.

50 GB is too costly.

Theoretically.

Its possible to download about 60GB non stop @ 32kBps.

50GB doesnt look that bad.

I use about 44 - 48GB a month, as reported by my Cable walla.

The thing is, my Cable walla takes a HUGE cut, and when i question him why.

He rudely replies, "Im the Net Provider here, so dont talk about my profit margin."

One day, im gonna blow my top with him.

Yesterday, something was wrong with his network, thus i couldnt connect.

So i complained. When i said i use "Auto Detech Settings" in TCP/IP he said "Why you use that??"

The friggin guy doesnt know his own stuff. I should talk to his engineer :|.

This is just stupid.

Im shifting to 256kbps iGate.

15ms to V-Street and 60ms to sgWG. Good enough for me.

man ... ethernet based connection these cables gus sucks ..
afaik its only good when u work for them and exploit them using 2mbps at night ;).
i'd say chamnge ur connection and burn a shitl\hole in their whole business its not hard to take a network down of a cable server who dont know what is tcp/ip :bleh:
 
hmm exatt is here in jogeshwari east .. yiiippee.. the techie would come to my place on monday ..

anwyays they say that a 1mbps line isnt available...

and for the price of the 1mbps(from the plan available online) they have a 512kbps night plan..

lets see wat the techie gets with him..
 
I've used ZeeAccess, Hathway and Airtel... kept ZA for a year before getting tired of the disconnections and downtime, HW was pure BS so dumped in 2 months and after that I switched to Airtel, been 4 years now. No issues.
 
any idea when airtel will launch in mumbai? also guys in mumbai (especially around bandra-khar) could you please give me the details of various ISP unlimited schemes or links to their site.....so far i've only contacted exatt and mostly some idiot always answers the phone. Reliance is way too expensive. I get speeds upto 8kbps on a 64kbps connection so they were satisfactory. How do you guys rate iqara?
