I have way too many bands most people won't even recognize, so I'll save my list :D Btw Chaos, one band I haven't shared with you is Racer X... Paul Gilbert's first band with Scott Travis from Priest - they really knew how to tear it up even back then.

P.S. And I thought this was a rock list? Why are the friggin metal bands pouring in :P

And in desi bands the favs range from: DemonStealer, IIIrd Sov, Narsil, Kryptos, Exhumation, Acrid Semblance, Bhayanak Maut Synd, etc. Anyones heard the gigs of DemonStealer side-project!? ..Its called b**chSlap or Workshop or something like that..

yeah! Bhayanak Maut Syndicate is the complete nomenclation. They supposedly did nick some first prize in last years livewire afambbr..
 
I just hope you guys like rock coz of rock.. :lol: i know quite a few people who "like" rock, rnb, hip-hop et al just because it is supposedly "cool" :rofl:

Bhayanak Maut? The band where the vocalist croaks like a frog? :bleh: (Apologies, i believe thats what "death metal" sounds like)
I heard them live at IIT Chennai's semi-pro rock competition, and watched them make it to the finals over other *more* talented bands .. only because the tasteless crowds that attend such events were happily moshing away to the senseless noise. (Judges think crowds moshing = good band !)

There are so many better Indian rock acts - Moksha, Motherjane, Parikrama, Zero, Garage Monsters, LBG, etc etc.. with the latest i've heard of being Junkyard Groove. Now these acts are way better :)
