I am bored of the same old songs.... I would like suggestions on what to listen to next :P

Please recommend something to me.

I like MANY songs of Maiden, Metallica (have almost all their albums). I like a few songs of Dream Theatre (Chaos, you yet to give me the FLAC version os Crimson Sunrise, the studio version :P ). I dont like Therion. I tried it.

I like Poets of the Fall as well and Rammstein.

Just make suggestions.... will listen to them and decide whether I like it or not.

And of course, I have tons of other songs. Like RHCP, Sum 41, Linkin Park, etc.... I like only a few songs.... I like 2 songs by 3 doors down, so on....

I have mentioned what I like so that you guys can recommend something for me.

Rio, Chaos, Private Ryan.... any recommendations

Marylin Manson. Period. ^ : ) ^ (Industrial Metal)

He doesnt sing.

He screams. He whines. He cries. He brings out every emotion he can.

PS : Slipknot rocks too, but its heavy/trash metal :)

Nikhil, I'm a big classic rock fan so try any/all of the following in no particular order: Whitesnake, Skid Row, Quiet Riot, The Who, Dire Straits (not just sultans), Eagles (not just hotel california), AC/DC, old Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Journey, Firehouse, Mr.Big, Queen, WASP, Twisted Sister, Cinderella, Poison - the list goes on and I'm sure I missed out some great bands but try any of these to get a good dose of rock from very talented musicians. I can write a DVD for you if you can pick it up.

@neuro, I knew Sahil when he started out before he had a band - I was to move to Mumbai and start one with him, but I chose to stay in the South :)

@Eddy, man show some respect for deathmetal if you don't want the dead metal musicians to come back and haunt you :D

Mostly CDs and 320kbps MP3s... trust me, on a computer you won't be able to tell the difference between FLAC and high quality MP3. I'll give you samples of each band and you can download more of what you like...

Awesome !! Let me know when I can come over !! Preferably Saturday evening/afternoon. Sunday is out.

Am free on Wednesday afternoons and Friday afternoons as well :D :D

But if you connect it to a hi-Fi with decent speakers ?

..if u meant computer speakers then yeah...but that would be a shame  .

There are so many better Indian rock acts - Moksha, Motherjane, Parikrama, Zero, Garage Monsters, LBG, etc etc.. with the latest i've heard of being Junkyard Groove. Now these acts are way better

I agree with u completely man..most of the so called indian heavy metal/thrash bands make so mucha unnecessary noise..they fail to understand tht noise is not an excuse for genuine metal/thrash music..

I used to follow Acquired funk syndrome, orange street etc. but soon got bored n lost track..

A few indian bands tht i still like are parikrama, Indus creed (where r they gone?? one of the best fusion bands  ) n pentagram....

The rest seriously need to grow up... :bleh:

Yeah, I'm referring to computer speakers directly connected to a PC. With good speakers and an amp, I'd rather play CDs :)

@Private/Chaos, you can't possibly forget Millennium and Dreadlock, my favorite Indian bands who are no longer around but when they were, they knew how to rock :D

@Nikhil, Saturday is ESWC so I might go there on Bannerghatta road - you can meet me there. I'll confirm via PM by Friday.
